Yes, the icon read; non smoking, restaurant, fitness, pool, internet, business. Sheraton and Westin were the only ones with that combination. i was assuming i would get Sheraton, only because their rack rate was abit cheaper when i double checked. thanks again

thanks for your help, i ended up booking directly with a hotel, Hotel Pur, 3rd nite free, before tax 518$. good location, newer hotel, larger rooms now onto montreal

well just to make things more interesting, now i need two rooms, inlaws, so when i put in for 2 rooms 4 people 2 kids i get best western, though i kinda would like to get the clarendon now. is there a way to buy 1 room then go back and try again? maybe it will show up, or not. or how about getting someone with a diiferent computer in the house and do it at the same time, this may sound crazy,but well maybe...

hello all, looking to stay in quebec city aug 14-17, 3* with fitness, business, restaurant and golf nearby for 113$ when i add 2 kids the price jumps to 144$ needless i have to bring the kids:) 90% hotwire recommend and 4 of 5 TA rating what could this hotle be? thanks!!

tried bidding with the different zones added, went up to 145$ i then closed the screen, and reopened the link, using just muskoka, which gave me a different set of towns to work with, still no luck. i will try again, but i guess there is always Deerhurst in Huntsville, i am in no rush, & i live in the Greater Toronto area.

you are right, i dont know how i got confused with that, maybe i was looking at it with another feature included, (balcony) I did call the resort and spoke to someone with reservations, with the studio king room having a sofabed and 3 person occupancy, you are allowed to have a fourth person as long as they are under 12yrs of age, so that may work out afterall. i would like to proceed booking, but i am looking at the end of august, which may or may not work to my advantage.

i noticed a posted win of J W Marriott Resort & spa on Rosseau Lake in the town of Minett. i may need to bid higher, even though my travel dates are end of summer season. perhaps 150$ a nite would be my max. i appreciate your suggestions. i checked the resorts website and when i put in my dates with their going rate, they have many rooms to choose from. i will also be bringing 2 kids,( 5&7 yrs.) to me it looks like their base rooms have 2 beds, with the king bed rooms are more expensive.

i do realize i may sound unreasonable switching to hotwire with a higher price, but also priceline does not guarrantee that i can get 2 beds, it just states that it will guarrantee 2 persons. i dont want to cause any problems because our group will have 2 young kids & 2 adults. if i can be sure that it will not be a problem, then i will try priceline again and up my price. Also, in your experienced opinion, i am better to wait 2 weeks or less before checkin date? i am not flying in, so i am not urgently needing a hotel room, thanks. also, asking a priceline/hotwire question, the board is flexible, goes back & forth. its the dates in question that are more the issue, i guess? sorry to be all over the place :)

when i checked on priceline what hotel they sell in downtown Toronto in the yorkville area, they are Marriott Yorkville, on Bloor St. E. about 3 blocks away, Intercontinental Yorkville, on Bloor & Avenue rd. one block away Park Hyatt on Avenue rd. & Bloor Dont know hotline though. had priceline info handy. hope this helps

realized that our booking dates follow caribana weekend, reason for much higher prices. hopefully for our wednesday check-in caribana party-ers will be checking out. wrote out the bidding stradegy, was going by memory yesterday. my question is do i book now or wait it out till closer to my date, and risk finding nothing. i am willing to go as high as 90-95 US. will need to wait for this evening to start bidding again. thanks!

started bidding @ 45$ for downtown TO 4*, rejected, added TO east, then west, oakville, a few others that do not show up that they have 4* and no luck tonite. went as high as 60$ try again tomorrow.

would i be able to bid and include areas that do not have the star rating that i desire, so i can get multiple bids with in the 24hr. time frame. i know that there are no 4* in the suburbs, or that is what shows when you choose that particular area. just an idea, what do you think?
