  1. Thanks for the possible ID. We won't take that one. Since this new request still falls in the title of the topic, can you help with this? Brandenburg/Parliament 4.5 stars 28-30 Nov 2014 FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Boutique Hotel, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, Internet access, Spa Services, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Roll-in shower $75-76 per night $364.14 including taxes, fees, "resort fee" for two rooms. I get an error message when I click on the "continue" (red) button when going through your Bidding Helper link. Here's the message in case it's on your side of the link: We couldn't process your request Thank you for visiting Hotwire. We're always working to improve our site. Occasionally, we reorganize our pages, and as a result, bookmarks you have set for our site may no longer be accurate.
  2. Here's what I get using your link and the green button: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, Internet access, Spa Services, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Handicapped parking, Roll-in shower So it shows a few more accessability features. Thanks!
  3. Does anyone have an idea of which hotel this could be? Two rooms City Center - Tiergarten - Berlin Zoo area $73@ Dates are November 28-30, 2014 Amenities: Free Internet Pet friendly Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center Spa Services Accessibility Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Trip Advisor 4 of 5, $14@ resort fee, plus fees and taxes = total $351 for two rooms Thanks!
  4. No idea what this hotel is like, but the Hilton Olympia is just so-so. If you are over 5ft 4in, their showers are difficult to use.
  5. I do use your links when I am at home and am curious as to why you would think otherwise. Your links do NOT work from our work computers (they are blocked) so I cannot use them there. I feel this is an aggressive post on your part. You have told me this before and I have replied this before.
  6. I see a hotel in this area for $163 for 2 adults and 1 child, April 6-9, 2014. Amenities are Pets and Internet. 85% HW approval rating, but a 4.5 Trip Advisor. I cannot identify it with any of the hotels on this site, nor through TA and the 4.5 Thanks!
  7. Started out at $80, adding zones twice until they took my $88 bid. We're roasting here in our rental apartment and decided to take a room with AC for respite for a night. We would never have done this w/o this board to help me get a great price. We used your PRICELINE link to begin each bid.
  8. I forgot to mention that while the site lists "What hotel? Here's a hint..." The hints do NOT necessarily include the hotel you actually get. (Marlowe, The Charles, and Veritas were the hints.) However, when I called, she told me,'Your hotel will be one of these..." and listed a good 6 four-star hotels in Cambridge, including Le Meridien. So I guess you get a more honest "hint" if you call. Currently what can be nothing but the Hyatt Cambridge (because of the TA rating and amenities) lists the exact same "hints". Personally, I find them misleading, bordering on questionable honesty.
  9. After using your site for a couple of months to try to get a good rate for a Cambridge hotel, I finally got Le Meridien Cambridge at a great rate. There are new amenities for this hotel: Free Internet; Pet friendly; Fitness Center; Restaurant(s); Business Center; High-Speed Internet Access; Accessible path of travel; In-room accessibility; Accessible bathroom I am happy with this hotel and have had your help several times getting it. Last time just a couple of weeks ago. I was fairly sure this would be Le Meridien based on the amenities (free internet, and during a recent stay I saw several dogs at the hotel.) The 4.0 instead of 4.5 Trip Advisor rating made me more sure, since the Marlowe is 4.5 on Trip Advisor. The HOTWIRE recommend rating was 95%, which I know can change at any time. I'm still trying to cobble together three more nights directly after this stay, but feel quite lucky to have my back-up of $201 at the Westin Copley, since everything seems to be over $350 now. I'll keep looking and keep going through your site to browse. Unfortunately I got error messages for over an hour on HOTWIRE while I was trying to book this, so ended up having to call their line for help. If it helps you at all, this is the message I got some 25 times: Access Denied Thanks again for your great site.
  10. I tried PRICELINE for a while, but did not get anything better than this price, although the fees of $96 for four nights were awfully high. Thanks to this great forum, I was expecting Le Meridien, and am very happy with the results, having stayed here twice before. Listed amenities were: Free Internet Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom I used the HOTWIRE link from your website to book and for all my attempts on PRICELINE.
  11. Friends cannot make it, so we will not reserve. Still using your link to look for rooms for an upcoming stay in Boston, though. Thanks!
  12. I am unsure why you had me click on the links, since they just took me to the PL and HW sites for purchasing. Most of the time I do use your links, even for searching, but since my work computer will not let me use your site, I do not always. However, I do make sure I purchase through your site. Now will you help me? I kind of feel like a hostage here. BTW, I am making the purchase since they do not have US credit cards.
  13. I'm trying to book a room for friends for the 12th and 13th of January in London. Hotwire shows a 4* for $79 with the following amenities. Could you please help to identify it? Fitness, Laundry, Restaurant, Business Center, HSIA, Spa, Accessible to deaf,In-room accessibility, roll-in shower, Accessible to Blind, Handicapped parking, Accessible bathroom, Accessible path of travel. 4/5 Trip Advisor rating; 80% recommended with 200+ Hotwire Ratings. Individual ratings are all 4, except location = 3 1/2. Thanks!
  14. Additional $64 for taxes and fees for a total of $334 for the MLK weekend. I started at $85, added Limehouse as a free rebid zone and tried $90. Accepted. Good deal, in my opinion. I was hoping for the Millenium Gloucester someone else posted, but recent TA reviews of this hotel lead me to believe things have improved since last time I stayed here. Thanks for this great forum. Of course I used your PRICELINE link to bid.
  15. I'm looking at this hotel for October 5-8 in Kensington/Earl's Court. Amenities are fitness, restaurant, business, laundry, HSIA, accessible for: blind, deaf, path of travel, in-room, bathroom, and handicapped parking. It is currently showing for $108 per night. Thanks.
  16. Well, this did not quite work out for us, yet it did. Frankfurt was expecting quite a few demonstrators with "Block-upy", so our theater tickets were canceled. I called the Westin, and what a great thing they did for us- they allowed us to rebook the hotel for another night, giving us any weekend date in the upcoming two months. This has been typical of my experience with them. They are always helpful.
  17. I used your PRICELINE link to start bidding at $83 in East zone. I added West (free rebid zone) and tried $85, since that was accepted by another bidder. My bid was accepted, plus around $15 in taxes/fees, for a total of about $100. Same hotel we always "win", and we are happy.
  18. There is a free bus from Galleria (the mall adjacent to the hotel) down to the Kendall Square T-stop, and then an easy couple of stops to Harvard Square if you do that rather than take the Lechmere bus down to Harvard. PM me if you are going to Junior Parent. Taxi is not terribly expensive. This is a great hotel- you'll be glad you stayed there. Sign up for their loyalty program and email them with the number. That will give you free internet, even if you don't get points due to PL payment.
  19. Please report back on the quality of the hotel when you return. Thanks!
  20. Your hotel also has a 4.5 Trip Advisor traveler rating. I guess it's always possible that Hotwire gives the hotel 5 stars and Trip Advisor gives it something else. However, assuming both HW and TA use 5 stars, the following 5 star hotels have the 4.5 rating in the area you are looking: Park Hyatt Istanbul Macka Palas - this one may not be in the area- it might be just outside. The map is hard to read. Swissotel The Bosphorous Ritz Carlton Istanbul Grand Hyatt Istanbul Intercontinental Istanbul Ceylan Gezi Hotel Bosphorous Pera Palace Hotel With a 4.5 TA rating and $119 per night, it sounds like any would be a good stay. This is more of a business zone than tourist area. Public transportation is easy, clean, and cheap. Think twice about paying for wi-fi. Huge swaths of Istanbul have free public wi-fi.
  21. I first bid at $58. Got a counter offer for $67, which I ignored. Added the airport as a rebid zone at $60 and price was accepted. I am very pleased with the hotel and its location for Christmas markets. Guaranteed amenities were restaurant and business center. I used your PRICELINE link for the transaction.
