With these amenities: Free parking, Free breakfast, Free internet, Pet friendly, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access Also has a bunch of accessibility notes that were not listed on the pre-purchase page. I saved about $60 off AAA rate, although this is non-refundable. I used the Better Bidding HOTWIRE link to start my search and make my purchase. This was the hotel I was expecting based on the 4.3/1900+ Expedia ratings. The amenities did not match up exactly with the latest listing on this page. Thanks!

Standing at the train station 8pm yesterday with a cancelled apartment reservation, I was desperate. Used Hotwire (Sorry, too anxious to remember to book through your site HOTWIRE link.) and got this hotel close to the train station: Hotel l'Orchidee 3* Free Internet, Pet friendly, Smoke-free rooms, Internet access, Children's activities $90 per night April14-18 I have now spent a night here. Usually prefer a few more amenities, one more star, but this place meets my needs for now. Breakfast for additional 10 euros. Airport shuttle an incredible 26 euros for the whole car. No smoking anywhere in hotel. Impeccably clean, very quiet. Had I not been desperate, I would not have known good 3* hotels do exist in Paris.

On the 2nd page, the date switches, but I did not notice since I had double checked the front page. I called Hotwire to report the glitch, which their phone rep also saw on her screen. I have to wait an hour or so for them to correct it. Hopefully that will happen with no further problems.

I tried up to $125 for a Priceline 5* with no luck, so I am now looking at Hotwire. (Used your links for both.) I find one 5* with these amenities for July 30-Aug 2, 2015 in Gamla Stan area. Unfortunately there are no Trip Advisor ratings, nor HW customer ratings. EVERY TIME I clicked on a hotel in Stockholm, the rate had gone up by a few dollars. Without fail. Something fishy???? That appears to be right- it was located close to the Hilton, where we are staying. I just looked on a map and it is about a block away, so I am pretty sure this is the one. The other Mercure in Strasbourg is in the old town, a mile or so away.

4 star Frankfurt Messe-Bockenheim Amenities are free internet, pet friendly, business center, restaurant, internet access. It has 90% recommendation from Hot.wire. There is no Trip Advisor rating. $60 for the one night. I've got a refundable room at the Marriott, but would prefer something a little less expensive. Thanks!

Total cost was $444.88. A fabulous price for this very expensive city.
