  1. Congratulations on your win and thanks for sharing it with the board! Enjoy your stay.
  2. Congratulations on your wins! Please start a new thread with your second purchase to reflect the difference in price. Even though the price went up by $4 the second time it's not likely that you lost the $4. It may have been more expensive to book the two rooms together than separate. Enjoy your stay!
  3. This one hasn't been reported to the board yet, but I would say it looks like the Novotel North York. That would be my guess. If you plan on reserving, help support this site by using this HOTWIRE link to start your purchase and let the board know the result.
  4. Congratulations on your win and thanks for sharing it with the board! Enjoy your stay!
  5. Thanks for adding this win slorch! 50% savings is great.
  6. Congratulations on your win slorch! Thanks for sharing it with the board. That's an excellent deal you got. Please post your car rental win in the Priceline Car Rental States N-Z and International as well. Enjoy your stay!
  7. Congratulations on your win tzelle! $68 is a great deal for the hotel. Enjoy your stay!
  8. Caeser's Palace is the only 4.5* that has been reported to the board. There may be others not reported, or 5*'s could have recently been downgraded or 4*'s could have been upgraded. But my guess is that this one looks to be Caeser's Palace. As for why it doesn't show up when searching for 3 people: hotels load inventories based on what they have available, or what they are willing to offer. If all they have are single bed rooms available, then they can't offer a room for 3 people, however generally that is not always the case. It could be that hotels need to load rooms for each search and some don't bother loading for other scenarios even though they have rooms with two beds (or a bed and pull-out couch). Lots of people have been successful in booking a room based on 2 people and then calling the hotel afterwards and specifically requesting a two-bed room. They are under no obligation to accommodate you, but most will if they can, and I would think that is especially true in Vegas. Do you need a room for 3 people?
  9. Congratulations on your win and thanks for sharing it with the board! That's a great price for such a long stay.
  10. qonly1 thanks for helping ID this hotel! I ran into the same problem many months ago trying to ID this very hotel and decided to book another one I was more sure of. Please start a new thread with your dates and and the price you booked it for so it can appear in the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins.
  11. This combination of amenities matches several hotels in the zone. The Westin City Centre and The Dupont Hotel are good bets, with an off chance that it could even be Hotel Helix or another. Since HOTWIRE doesn't mention the tripadvisor traveler review rating it is hard to narrow it down further. For what it's worth, it looks like the Dupont Hotel was the last 3.5* to be reported from HOTWIRE in this zone. 12. Welcome to the board 1dafranchise! This one looks to be a match to the Days Hotel Main Gate. That would be my best guess. If you plan on reserving, help support this site by using this HOTWIRE link to start your purchase and let the board know the result.
  13. Congratulations on your win and thanks for sharing your HOTWIRE purchase with the board!
  14. I notice that HOTWIRE lists the tripadvisor traveler review for this hotel as 3.5/5 based on 200+ reviews. Referencing tripadvisor directly, the Grand Hyatt is the only hotel that matches this rating. It looks like the Grand Hyatt may have been downgraded from a 4* back to a 3.5*. The amenities also match. The Grand Hyatt would be my best guess. If you plan on reserving, help support this site by using this HOTWIRE link to start your purchase and let the board know the result.
  15. I notice that HOTWIRE lists the tripadvisor traveler review for this hotel as 4/5 based on 320+ reviews. Going to tripadvisor directly, the only hotel that matches this rating is the Sheraton. That would be my best guess. If you plan on reserving, help support this site by using this HOTWIRE link to start your purchase.
  16. It looks like you may be missing a few amenities. The icons are limited to 8 but there may be more. To see the full list click 'continue' on the hotel from the main search page, then directly under the amenity icons click 'see all amenities'.
  17. There is only 1 re-bid zone available if you are trying for a 3* in Vaughan - North York, so if you are dead-set on this area then it may take some patience over a few days in order to secure a room through Priceline at the best possible price through small incremental bids. However, there have been reports of a 3* win for as low as $40 in the area. Taking a quick look at the hotels in the area, there are only a few hotels that could possible classify as a 3* in this zone. The Residence Inn was a 2.5* but has recently been reported as a 3*, the Courtyard by Marriott was last seen as a 2.5* but could have been bumped up to 3* with the Residence Inn. The same goes for the Hilton Garden Inn. These are all possible 3* options in the area. Based on the history of wins in the area I wouldn't discount starting your bidding at $40 and going up from there since you do have some time, and depending on your patience. You could go up in $2 increments and wait for days to get the best price, or make $5 jumps and hopefully get something sooner. 18. Is there a tripadvisor rating listed? I'm also thinking it's more likely to be the IC City Centre, not Yorkville.
  19. This one looks to be a match to the Sheraton Centre. That's my best guess. It has a huge indoor/outdoor heated pool. Half the pool is located indoors, and the other half is located outdoors where they use a sliding glass partition wall to close off the outside. You wont find a hotel with a bigger pool in Toronto. Another hotel that springs to mind with and indoor pool is the Delta Chelsea. It is typically rated a 3.5* hotel. It also has an indoor water slide. I can't think of any hotel in downtown Toronto that has an outdoor pool other than the split indoor/outdoor of the Sheraton. I would highly recommend the Sheraton Centre. A huge convention hotel (over 1300 rooms), but the rooms are fairly spacious and clean, and the location is superb. 20. This one looks to be a match to Planet Hollywood. That would be my best guess. The $59 does not include taxes and fees. For your 5 night / 2 room stay HOTWIRE lists the price at $590 for the rooms +58.76 in taxes and fees = $648.76 total. If you plan on reserving, help support this site by using this HOTWIRE link to start your purchase and let the board know the result.
  21. Determining the cheapest fare is beyond our capabilities, but a good starting point would be to find out how much regular fares are for those dates in April and then maybe taking 50% of that as your starting point. You may not get it for 50% but it's a start. I would personally advise against bidding for your flight if you aren't at least willing to fly late Friday and return early Sunday. There is no way to guarantee which flight you will be on, and chances are high that you would get a non-optimal flying time. It may not be worth the risk for such a short period of time. But then again, check to see when the majority of the flight leave between those two cities. If you only find flights for Friday morning and none for Friday evening, your chances are a little higher that you might get an early flight.
  22. I would agree with all of your guesses though I think the 4* in Toronto East is more likely to be the Westin than the Renaissance. That is just my guess. For that price I would say the 4* Toronto West, which is likely the Sheraton, is by far your best bet. It is nicer than the Delta, and much more centrally located than either the Westin Harbour Castle or the Renaissance. If you plan on reserving help support this site by using this HOTWIRE link to start your purchase and let the board know the result. If you need any other info on Toronto, let me know and I'll help you out.
  23. Please list the amenities associated with this hotel and we'll take a look. HOTWIRE links do not work outside of your specific session.
  24. I'd agree that this most likely is the Sheraton Centre. An awesome hotel. If you plan on reserving, help support this site using this HOTWIRE link to start your purchase and let the board know the result.
  25. The tripadvisor information, unfortunately, is not always posted. Personally, I have no clue as to why it would show up some times and not others. The amenities you listed match what has been seen for both the Wynn and Venetian. Checking on the vacation packages section of HOTWIRE, the Venetian comes up with Internet also listed in the amenities, so I would think this hotel is more likely to be the Wynn. Most often the vacation packages and hotel booking section on HOTWIRE list the same amenities for the hotel. The Wynn is my best guess.
