You did good, seeing as the Essence Music Festival is that weekend and hotel rates seem to get jacked up due to demand.....

I did a bid for a 4* on Priceline and got the Hyatt Regency downtown for $55. I posted the details of my bid in the Priceline-Georgia forum.....

Got a one night stay at Hyatt Regency in downtown ATL for $55. First bid was $45, rejected, added Morrow and upped bid to $50, rejected, added Jonesboro and upped bid to $55 and was accepted.

Hotwire has it listed for $108 for one night stay 9/21. Amenities listed are fitness center and restaurant. Any help is appreciated.....
