  1. 3/15/08 - Quick Bidding Process 5* - $127 rejected 4* - $127 accepted for rooms 3/19-3/21
  2. 9/7/2007 Bid $60, $80, $90 for 4* Started with $80 for 3* Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $80.00 Subtotal: $80.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $19.84 Total Charges*: $99.84 We were actually rather disappointed with the Bishop's Lodge. $100 would have been all right for this hotel but when we arrived we were charged a mandatory "resort fee" of $30 ($15 / person / day). That comes to a 38% additional cost in our bid. I would expect to pay about $20 extra in fees but was disappointed in the additional $30 /day. What's the use of Priceline if a hotel can add an arbitrary fee to make up for the loss in the bid price? The grounds were very nice and the hotel was a 5 minute drive to downtown (don't count on their shuttle though - it only runs 3 times a day). We were disappointed with our "queen" bed. It was actually two twin beds pushed together to form one.
