  1. 7/27 – 7/29 (2 nights) Thurs – Sat

    A)     Casino North: 3.5, free parking, free internet: $63 (90% recommended)

    B)     Casino North: 3.5, free parking, bed choice: $57 (70%)

    C)     Casino South: 3.5, free parking, free internet: $64 (90%)

    D)     Casino South: 3.5, free parking, bed choice: $57 (70%)

    E)      Casino South: 3.5, free parking, bed choice: $76 (65%)

Golden Nugget, then Harrah's, then Aquarius are my preferences to book if they can be identified.

    Thank you

  2. FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Indoor pool(s), Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower

Yes it appears to be the Hyatt or Hyatt House (also in Bellevue).

Will report back if I end up booking it.

    Thank you

  3. I am looking for a Downtown Austin Hotel 4/14 - 4/16. Hotwire currently has a 4* for $109/nt with the following ammenities:

Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Hi Speed Internet

This matches with a number of different hotels according to the list:

    AT&T Conference Center

    Hilton

    Hyatt Regency

    Inter-Continental

    Omni

    Sheraton

    W

    Radisson

    Hilton Garden Inn

At that price I would be fine with any of those hotels EXCEPT for AT&T Conference Center which I do not want to stay at because it's not Downtown and I'll be checking in there after the 14th for a conference. It appears to only be a 1 in 9 chance that it would be AT&T but with my luck, it would definitely turn out to be AT&T.

I've been checking these dates probably twice a week for the last 2 months and it just went down so I'm not sure if that would indicate that it's AT&T; maybe they had a larger than needed room block for a conference that they just released?

Should I just assume the worst case scenario and not book through Hotwire or is it worth taking a chance? Yes, I know that if I do book through Hotwire I need to use the links included here.

  4. Trying to identify this property:

    4* Downtown Montreal

Smoke Free, Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Hi Speed Internet Business Center

    Bed Choice

Recommended in 95% of Hotwire reviews

This appears to match with Le Centre Sheraton Montreal Hotel and Le Westin.

After clicking "continue" you are able to read reviews. Should I be able to find these reviews on Tripadvisor? I am not finding a match to these reviews for Sheraton or Westin so I'm wondering if this is something different.

    Thanks in advance

  5. Used the provided HOTWIRE link and am considering:

    4* Chicago Loop Area

    Fitness Center

    Restaurant

    Business Center

    Hi Speed Internet

100+ total reviews so I don't believe that it is the W City Center Chicago which has 277 reviews or the Palmer House Hilton which has 875 reviews. Is the number of reviews a reliable check factor?

    5/27 - 5/29, 2 people comes out to $89/night

It'll be a couple plus one so anyplace that we can get two bed (rollaway okay) is fine.

We'll actually be staying in Chicago until 6/2 though the rest of the stay we'll be at the Sheraton Towers which is the conference location paid for by work. Anything big going on in Chicago for Memorial Day weekend?

  6. 3* Downtown Hotel

    Bed Choice, Casino, Restaurant, Laundry

No 3* Downtown hotels are currently on the list so I'm not sure if this is maybe Fitzgeralds (2.5*) that got upgraded or a new hotel addition.

Looking for rooms for March Madness (NCAA Basketball Tournament rounds 1 and 2)

    3/17 - 3/21 is $55/nt

    3/18 - 3/21 is $59/nt

    3/19 - 3/21 is $69/nt

Just in case anyone else is looking for a Downtown hotel for the same dates, the Golden Nugget is currently the only other hotel on HOTWIRE and the daily rates for those same date ranges is $108, $116 and $133.

  7. I used the provided PRICELINE link to book a 4* hotel in Downtown, Denver 10/8 - 10/12 for $65/night at Sheraton.

They have free internet in the lobby (pay to use in your room).

They have free use of the fitness center.

They just underwent renovations though reviews on tripadvisor are still somewhat mediocre.

Parking is expensive but that seems to be the case at most Downtown hotels.

Super Shuttle from the airport costs $22 each way, runs every 15 minutes and takes about an hour.

  8. I am interested in staying at the newly opened Aliante Station in North Las Vegas/Aliante but haven't been able to find it on Hotwire. Has anyone found this property listed for any dates?

For the dates I am looking at (mid-May 2009), the best rates I can find ($78/nt) are at easyclicktravel but I can't tell what their cancellation policy is and I'm also thinking that with the economy as it is, better deals might come up. I'm planning to book numerous rooms for about a dozen people so I want to shop around for the best deal before committing.

I also like Red Rock Resort in the Summerlin area which is listed as a 4 star resort West of Strip. They used to have good rates on Hotwire but don't seem to be listed anymore. Anyone been able to book there recently (in the last 2 months)?
