Smoke Free, Airport Shuttle, Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Hi Speed Internet Can someone identify this hotel ? and any tips for the current parking rates Any alternatives .. ? Update : I got the The Algonquim for $180 + fees on PriceLine thru SavingsBarn. Had to use the re-bidding process numerous times.. But it worked..

I tried up to 180 for a 4 star and 150 for a 3 .. tried using the rebidding technique .. but did not work.. WIll try again tomorrow For the hotel highlighted above, i tried up to 150 to no avail david

so I did not book yet. But I am willing to consider MidTown area for the 22nd (1 night) and willing to pay up to $200 (including services) I've had no luck with Priceline yet. Help on the strategy (4* and 3*) - Hotwire availability is limited right now I also read the rebidding guidelines. When you say close browser.. does it mean you've exahusted all possibilities and have to wait 24 hrs again ?

Hello I am looking for a 3-4 star hotel in Manhattan (mid town or surroundings) for September 22nd. I went to HOTWIRE and found one for $163 (4 star hotel) - it's giving me 4 choices. Since I know the "base" price, can I use 1. Priceline and do the bidding ? say start at $100 (maybe unrealistic) ? and keep going from there or just book from hotwire and forget the bidding thing. If I use PriceLine directly, I don't get as much as a good 'deal' as Hotwire. Great website by the way ! Saves us a lot of money. Thanks david
