  1. Hello, My wife and I are going to be staying in Paris for three nights (Sept. 28-Oct. 1). I wanted to find out which areas I should search on PRICELINE. We would like to be able to get to the sights/places below easily. We want to do at least the following while in Paris: Louvre Eiffel Tower Notre-Dame Champs-Elysees Arc de Triomphe Versailles I was considering searching in zone 3 (Champs Elysees - Opera Quarter West) & 6(Opera Quarter East - Les Halles). I think I want to bid 4* because I have read that 3* is not that great in France. My budget is flexible. I figure at least PRICELINE can save me some money. I would guess that I would prefer the $150-200 per night range. Thanks, Anthony
  2. Yeah, it looks like a botique hotel on the Web site. It will work for what we need. Pricelines definition of 4*s definitely varies. It is in a good area and we won't be at the hotel very much anyway.
  3. Bidding 4* only First bid was for USE at $82. Rebid for USW at $82 Rebid for South San Francisco at $84 Rebid for Lombard Street at $86 - Accepted for USW - Prescott Hotel Total is $205.60 with tax. Don't know much about the hotel, looks nice. Funny is the hotel Web site says botique, but Priceline does not have it in that category. Going to San Fran to see some baseball - Go Cardinals. :) Used the PRICELINE link from this site.
  4. Hello, Thanks for hosting these forums, they were really helpful for someone who had never used Priceline before. I bid my way up from $80 to $113 in four zones: Bloomsbury - Marble Arch Mayfair - Soho Westminister Kensington-Earl's Court-Knightsbridge Got the Holiday Inn Kensington Forum today for $113. Total with taxes is $275.44. I think I got a pretty good deal. It looks like the location will be awesome.
