  1. Wicked. $46 first bid. Used your Priceline link to book my graduation formal night. Hope my ladyfriend will like it. It's close enough to the Atlantis Pavilion which the ball is held. Great deal. Thanks so much better bidding!
  2. Hihi. I figured I should just add to this thread instead of making a new one. First/ I am 23 years old. Most companies charge extra for under 25 (and outright will not accept anyone under 21). Will this charge be incorporated into the priceline bid already? As priceline does ask for your age IIRC. Second/ Insurance. I understand liability insurance follows the driver, so I'm alright in that respect. There is also comprehensive and collision, just in case I get into a little accident on the way. How does priceline deal with these charges? Cheers TIA! -k
  3. Same story as the Montreal bid. Started at $75 but went to $85 impatiently. Likely could've gotten a better rate, but I was in a rush! Bid was accepted on 27Jan.
  4. Oops, forgot to post this winning bid. Started at $75 but went to $85 impatiently. Likely could've gotten a better rate, but I was in a rush! Bid was accepted on 27Jan.
  5. Started bidding at $54 today, nothing. I expanded to Don Valley (specifically knowing that I wanted a 4* and Don Valley had no 4*) and bumped to $56, accepted. Very excited. Though I live in Toronto, going to try something different for a night with the ladyfriend. It's our 6mo anniversary, so I hope the Marriott is as nice as the photos suggest =)
  6. Heyhey, First time ever user of priceline, completely new at this bidding thing. I started bidding at 4* in dtMTL area at $65. I know, VERY optimistic. Then I expanded my search to dorval area. Second bid at $75, nothing. I, then realized most of you have won 3* hotels at that price range, OOPS, I was looking at the wrong hotels!. So I lowered my search to 3* and bid $85 and won this Delta Montreal. NICE, close to downtown... walkable to party zones. I'm very excited! I looked at Delta's site, and a similar room costs $200+ night. Can't wait to check it out. Thanks for all the info!! Cheers -kai
