Hi, I have been looking at hotwire the past week for many areas, time frames etc. I always look for a TA rating to help guess at the hotel, For all of them that I have tried, there has not been one TA rating to compare!! This to me is strange, as I know some hotels aren't displayed with this info but all of them are coming up without TA rating. Is this coincidence or has anyone else noticed this also? Thankyou
It was listed on Hotwire for aprox $75. per night for March 15 & 16. and for aprox $111. for March 17. On the TWSandpiper site it was listed $89. for March 15 -16 and went up to $215 for the rest of the week. Bid $70 for March 15-18 and got it. I am aware of the Resort Fee. I tried to extend my days to Friday March 20. and I recieved a counter offer of $145. per night but did not accept it. I used the PRICELINE link. I am happy with what I got.

Tried 5 star up to 135 by way of free rebids. Went to 4 star yesterday at 110 but nothing, today $117 There is a waterworks convention in town last week of Sept 1st week of Oct. Anyway happy with the rate. the hotel website shows around 380-400 a night. Used the PRICELINE link.
Hi, I think the price paid was $138 or $139 before taxes and fees. I just looked now, on Inn at Key West site and a standard room is only going for $135. It may have been slightly higher that week as it was "Pride" week in Key West. Thanks for the incite on TA
The ammenities were correct but the tripadvisor rating was off. Based on 120+ reviews- last review may. But in actuality tripadvisor only had 117 reviews- last review june. In may they could have only had 116 reviews which is not near 120+ reviews. I have not seen more reviews advertised than there really are. This was decieving as I look for these to assist in pinpointing a property. Based on this I thought I had a legitimate argument and the person who answered the phone was willing to cancel but then asked the supervisor who would not budge. Well anyway now you know to add this hotel. The hotel was fine but experience left a bad taste in our mouths. Is this common for hotwire to OVER state how many reviews are representing their listing?? Inn at Key West -Reserved June 12 stayed June 12 also. please add inn at key west to your 3.5 star rating. I got this property on Thursday june 12. tripadvisor rating was advertised on hotwire as out of 120+reviews,last review may. I expected La Concha Crowne. Actual tripadvisor reviews were 117 last review June. I tried to argue this with hotwire and they stuck to "we keep our hotels secret until you buy" This hotel was WAY out of the way, on Roosevelt. We were dissappointed and upset that they wouldnt budge even though listing was inaccurate. This is just to warn whomever bids on 3.5 star in Key West you may get this hotel.
We will be in Florida from March 5- 24. March 5-9 travelling down the East coast--will be eventually looking for info on various properties from Daytona right on through Miami- one night stays type of thing. I will wait to search for these dates but for the Orlando stays because they are longer I would like to find something suitable so I have time to be choosey. It is for Myself and one adult son, and 2 early teen sons- so the more room the better! From March 9 to 20 we will be visiting Disney and also doing attractions on I-drive South (Seaworld -Aquatica etc.) Around the 20th we will be doing Universal Studios and staying onsite. So from the 9th- 20th I am looking for 2 different locations. One close to disney and one on I drive north or south, (doesn't really matter). We were hoping for a place close to Disney closer to the 9th- or 1st part of our Orlando stay. So if my questions seem all over the board (so to speak) those are our plans. Yes your best guess sounds right. Amenities match Crowne Plaza but.. why would the trip advisor be 4.5/5 out of 20 reviews and Crowne Plaza Universal has 274 reviews on it. However, Crown Plaza Airport is 3/5 but has only 22 reviews. How accurate is the trip advisor "clue" when purchasing? Thankyou

Thankyou Edited to add, I searched trip advisor for all 4.5/5 ratings and only one showed up with only 20+ reviews and it happened to be in that area. The hotel was Blue Heron Beach Resort.
