There was a major event going on that weekend. All the hotels increased their rates by double or more. I was able to get this room before Motel 6 doubled the rate. I would have used the Motel 6 website.

I booked this using the Country Inn & Suites website. In general I have found Country Inn & Suites to be very good properties. This location listed a very competitive price. What I found out when I arrives is they were in the process of losing the County Inn & Suites brand and the place was a mess.

Since the Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Columbus North is a Wyndham property and I have a Wyndham Rewards account, I booked this using the Wyndham Rewards. I think I had enough points to get one night free.

Not knowing what property this was, I booked a Wyndham property. I believe it was a Hawthorn Suites. Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Columbus North 6191 Zumstein Dr Columbus, OH 43229 This property is a little worn but having a ton of space, a full kitchen, and a full breakfast included was nice. The area could be a little questionable.

I guess I was not clear. I did stay at this property and it was terrible. This property was in the process of losing the County Inn & Suites brand. I think it is now a Lexington Inn and I would strongly discourage anyone from staying there unless they have done major renovations. I would not stay at this property even if they did renovations unless it had different owners.

I don't remember for sure but I think I ended up staying at the Motel 6 in Niagara Falls. That Motel 6 is a step up from most other locations. It has an indoor pool and other amenities.

I had some certificates for any Country Inn & Suites location. I used one of them to stay in Oakville. Oakville was a good location for what I was doing.

I'll let you know what I end up doing. I think the Novotel can be eliminated because I think it has a parking charge (substantial).

This time when I clicked through I was offered another hotel "do you want free parking" It is a 3* $63 Mississauga area with Amenities Free Parking Free Internet Indoor pool(s) Airport Shuttle Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center The Airport Shuttle is different.

Yesterday HOTWIRE informed me of: $62 3.5-star Burlington Hotel Sat, 6/14 - Sun, 6/15 Low-Price Guarantee Original price: $74 But every time I clicked through I did not see anything like this for that area (an area which would be fine for what I am doing) Unless I am missing something, I have not seen the Tripadvisor logo.

Today on the HOT.WIRE site the property with those amenities is listed as 65% recommended when the property listed yesterday was 95% recommended. The 65% is a concern. EDIT: This is strange: Sometimes when I click through I get 65% recommended and sometimes I get 100% recommended...

Thank you! It was the Sheraton Suites and I used the BiddingHelper.com Tool to book it for $59. This is a top notch property which is very HOTWIRE etc. friendly. They put me on a Starwood Preferred Guest floor.

A few months ago I made a reservation at the Country Inn and Suites nearby just to make sure I had a room. I was thinking I might snag a better deal on HOTWIRE. I also have a rewards card for Wyndham I might check. I have had a good experience with Country Inn and Suites properties. Thank you!

It is the Crowne Plaza Columbus North. I eliminated my first date of stay which dropped the rate to $65. I used some reward points to get a free night at another hotel for the first date of stay. I did use the HOTWIRE link to make my travel purchase. Thank you!!!
