Awesome property, have stayed here once before and loved it. The restaurant bar is stocked with local craft brews. Fantastic artwork from the Ford collection is exhibited throughout the hotel. Amazingly decorated at Christmas time. I knew it wasn't the Hyatt because the internet isn't free there. Highly recommended! And don't worry, I used the HOTWIRE link!

Not only does it have Fishbones restaurant with the most excellent bucket of crawfish, its in walking distance to Ford Field or the Fillmore. FYI about Motor City as well, you can't bring coolers or cases of beer into the hotel! Unbelievable. Nor can you order a pizza to your room. Security will confiscate it at the elevators. Never going back there again, but to be fair, the casino was pretty lose for me. This trip we are going to see the Tragically Hip. Woo Hoo!!!!

I'm looking for the week before using the 6 bid zone strategy, started at $80, and I am up to $128 right now with no luck. I have even added 3 and half stars with no luck. I think maybe Blues Fest has rooms at a premium ! Good luck !

It is nice... fully automated. 2 'bank machines' at the front door. You put your credit card in and your room keys spit out! Starbucks / room service is also fully automated. You swipe your room key at the bar and order off a touch screen. Very nice... Had lobster sandwich and garlic pizza at 2 AM after a Coldplay show at the Palace, lol. Free shuttle to local concerts too.
