It was a little more than I wanted to pay but glad I could make a reservation.  I hope this is a good place.

I've been rejected and unable to make a reservation using Priceline.  I increased up to $220/night with 4* but still no win.  I would like to go to NYC from Oct 16th to 18th and want to stay in MTE or MTW. 

Could you give me some suggestions or advices?

It looked Priceline wouldn't work for this trip but I ended up using some other travel site. 

Could you tell me experience with Priceline 'Name your own Price' and "Express Deals"?

Which is better?  What is the differece between those?

I am planning to be in NYC from Oct12-14. I want to stay at a 4* hotel  in MTE or MTW.

My budget for 4* place is $200/night preferably including tax and fee. Is this too low?

Also, I would like a room with 2 double/full beds.

Can you add the breakfast plan if you book with Priceline?

I'm looking for a 4* hotel in Newport, RI for 1 night in October. I'd like to keep it to $180/night + tax.  According to the list that is posted on this website, the only hotel that shows up is the Hotel Viking. My biggest concern is that I want to be downtown area in Newport but not on Goat Island.

Please help me come up with a bidding strategy here. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, I want to bid for a direct flight from BOS to BWI. I haven't used Priceline for airfare so I am not sure how it works. Can I only bid for non-stop flights?

Thanks for your post! It would be nice to have a kitchenette if staying longer than a couple of days. I would like to know if that possible using Priceline.

My bid was accepted (using your PRICELINE link) for Kitano New York Hotel @ $180. I am not sure if Kitano is really a 4* property, but very happy with the result. Thanks for the help!

I got MTW Hilton New York for $120 a night through SavingsBarn.com. I selected 3* but somehow it was upgraded to 4*. So it worked out very well.

Thank you for your replies! Probably the maximum bid would be $120... Any areas except Soho area would be good because I'd like to go see a Broadway show and MET. Soho seems a little far to stay. Should I put more than $100 to bid?
