  1. Sorry should have answered this earlier, I did not use Hotwire for his trip as the hotels could not be identified. Thanks for the hep and will definitely be using this forum again.
  2. Am I missing something? I don't see Gramercy Park in Hotwire Hotel list for Empire State Building.
  3. There is so many hotels in NYC. Wow! this one? 4.5 star, Empire State Building...$368.00 FULL AMENITIES: Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower Is it Tuscany? The amenities more line up with 5 star Langham Place. more than I wanted to spend, but who knows if good enough deal....
  4. There could be even a better deal, I find when I use Hotwire I usually save a lot. I can book the Shelburne myself for $234 a nite, buy 3 and get a fourth nite free. then you don't have to advance pay and stuff. But I know Easter weekend and things maybe busy and fewer good deals to be had.
  5. that is a Priceline deal? Are they only good for 2 people? We will have our 12 yr old son with us to. Thanks so much for the help!
  6. Thanks so much. we have been to New York a few times and have mostly stayed in or near Times Square ( Marriott Marquis, Doubletree Suites and Eventi) in the past. This time we wouldn't mind staying somewhere a bit different as long as subway access , as we still will probably go to a theatre show or two. Also may go to a Rangers game and if lucky enough to score tickets, Billy Joel is at MSG on April 3rd. We prefer a nicer hotel if possible, Probably $200 TO $250 range.
  7. Thanks for your help, not interested in that hotel! Back to the drawing board lol.
  8. Thanks again, when I use your method above, I get these amenities: Free Internet Fitness center Restaurant(s) Business center Internet access Tennis nearby Spa services Which is probably the Grand Hyatt?
  9. I tried with both 2 and 3 people and keep getting the error thing when I use that biddinghelper.com. tool way of going into to Hotwire.
  10. Wow, I guess I havent been on here for a while, that is pretty cool. Strangely enough , this is what I got, for some reason it lists internet twice and I tried it a few times and it did it every time. Midtown east 4.5 * $198.00 FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Tennis nearby, Spa services When I try to put it through, to the next step where you would see the TA Rating, as if I was going to purchase, I get this error message... We couldn't process your request We're sorry, but a system error just occurred. Error #1310 Thanks so much for the help!!

April 2-6th, 2015 ( 4 nights) 4.5 Star Midtown East Amenities - Internet, Fitness, Restaurant, Business Centre, Tennis, Spa T/A Rating...4/5 I was hoping that was The Benjamin, but I have a feeling may be Grand Hyatt, which I dont like as good. I used the HOTWIRE link in this site... Another good deal from betterbidding.com.......this is a great property, I could have had others ( Sheraton) at slightly over 100 dollars but thought this was worth the extra 40 dollars per nite. Price on hotel website is $259 Cdn per nite.
  14. Change in plans and needed a room for tonite, after getting the Hilton last night, was hoping for same hotel, but instead got Sheraton....two show same amenities.....tripadvisor ratings would have helped with a positive id, but who is complaining? 4 * Toronto Downtown West................$63....03/24/09 - 03/25/09 Amenties...... Airport shuttle, Fitness Centre, Restaurant, Business Centre, Laundry and High speed T/A Rating 4/5 , 240 + ratings (last reviewed Feb 2009) I guess possible matches could be Royal Windsor ( T/A, 4/5 rating, 255 Reviews)....although T/A calls it a 4* Renaissance Brussels Hotel (T/A 4/5 rating, 345 Reviews) ...again T/A calls it A 4* 4* .....$264................Lake Louise Area .... 20. Bid again on PRICELINE tonight, $240 rejected, this is not fun lol !!!
  21. well, I dont see many PRICELINE winners for Brussels....no free rebidding there, so maybe i could rebid at about $260 for the 4* tomorrow night......maybe the Lake Louise one at $322 on HOTWIRE now isnt a bad deal under the circumstances.... it has restaurant , business , laundry , high-speed, golf and tennis and is a 4* ..........if it is the Sheraton Towers probably is a good deal for this particular time...on venere.com I can get Hotel Bristol Stephanie for 243 Euros, which is similiar to the 322 US I guess and is supposed to be a 5*, but I would say more like a 4*
  22. I am not sure lol...has anyone used the guide enough to know what would get one of this hotels if I did for example bid on one of the 4 stars??........wow, tough choices and expensive!!.... tried a 4 * bid on priceline at $200 for fun, was rejected with no counteroffer,,,,,
