  1. Tried $70. Was offered a re-bid if I add $22. Canceled. Placed new bid on $82 which was accepted. I used your PRICELINE link.
  2. Check-In Date: Wednesday, June 1, 2009 Check-Out Date: Saturday, June 12, 2009 Hotel Name: Renaissance Mayflower Hotel 1127 Connecticut Avenue Northwest Washington, District Of Columbia 20036 202-347-3000 Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $120.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 11 Room Subtotal: $1320.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $210.37 (USD) Total Room Cost: $1530.37 (USD) Tried to bid for a 4* in Arlington or Downtown starting below $80. Last bid before $120 was $115. I tried to shorten the period to one week and went up to about $100 in Arlington. I probably should have splitted the bids more since it was a longer stay but I didn't want to risk having to change hotel in the middle and I got tired of bidding. Worked out well anyway. I don't think I used your link on the winning bid, sorry for that. BTW, I used the excellent re-bidding.com for easy bidding strategy. *EDIT* I see that Topic Description is not correct but how can I edit it?
  3. First bid on $91 was rejected but I was offered a "free" bid if I added at least $22. I did that and got it for $113. I assume that it probably had worked with $100 or so if I had exited and tried again but I thought $113 per night was pretty good for a weeks stay at conference time. Thanks for a great site!
