  1. Thanks for your help. $134 is more than I wanted to spend. I noticed that many people are winning Gaylord Palms for $80-90 in PRICELINE. What are the odds I get it through Priceline. Can you please tell me what the other ones are a match for. They are more in line with my budget, if they are nice hotels, it might be a better option for me.
  2. I changed my nights to Sept 1-5 and got an additional hotel... 4* Lake Buena Vista 72$ fitness, pools, restaurant and hight speed internet
  3. Added Maingate and this is what I received. Thanks about the continue button, didn`t know about it. 4* Condo Lake Buena Vista - Downtown Disney $76 Condo, Resort, 1B, full kitchen, free parking, daily housekeeping, air conditioning, in room laundry and children`s activities 4* Condo Maingate $105 Condo,1B, full kitchen, daily housekeeping, fitness centre, pools, restaurant, business centre, 24 hour front desk 4.5* Condo Maingate $130 (price seems high) Resort, smoke free rooms, fitness centre, pools, restaurant, business centre, high speed internet, golf near by,
  4. Yes, I would like Gaylord Palms. I wasn`t sure if it was in LBV or Maingate. I`m going to all the parks, I thought LBV was closer. I will add Maingate and repost my question.
  5. I am looking for a hotel for Sept 1-8 as close too Disney as possible, which I believe is Lake Buena Vista Downtown Disney. When I key in my dates, I get the following 4* Condo Condo Resort 1B Fully Equip Kitchen Free Parking Daily Housekeeping A/C In Room Laundry Any guesses at to what this could be? Thanks for you help.
  6. I am considering a trip to Disney on Sept 1-8th. I would love to get Gaylord Palms and want to avoid the Hilton. What are my chances of getting Gaylord Palms for these dates? Both hotels are coming up available in Priceline regular booking. Hilton is showing $89 and Gaylord Palms is showing averge $221 a night. Does this mean I will most likely get Hilton? Thanks for your help.
  7. Thanks for your help. I didn't want to take my chances getting Country Inn Suites (not a fan of the one in Oakville) so I decided to go bid on PRICELINE (using the link on this site) and got Fairfied in at $36 on the first try. I used the Mississauga map, not Oakville Burlington. I was extremely happy with my win, great hotel and awesome price.
  8. Ended up booking the conventional route and didn't use PRICELINE or HOTWIRE. Thanks for your help.
  9. Cancelled my trip. Never ended up bidding.
  10. I'm looking at hotwire for a 2 night stay in Oakville. A 2.5 * and 3* are both coming up. Any guess which hotel they can be? These are the icons that are displayed... 3* - gym, swimming, internet connection, laundry and fax 2.4 * - coffee, fax, laundry and internet connection Thanks for your help.
  11. Hotwire has a 4.5 * for 119 in the Disney Maingate Celebration Area. It displays the following icons... Resort Smoke free rooms Fitness Centre Pools Restaurants Business Center Highspeed Internet access Golf Nearby Please help me identify this resort? Dates are Dec 16-19 /2008 3 nights Thanks!
  12. Also, can someone help me with a bidding strategy? thanks.
  13. I am looking for a resort hotel in Orlando for March 14-21st...is it too early to try PRICELINE?
  14. When you say that you never pay over $75, does that include peek season also? I'm looking to booke during March (Spring) Spring Break. What should I expect to pay?
  15. I notice most people are getting millenium for 3* buffalo airport. i don't want this hotel and it appears to be sold out anyway for my dates (Aug 23 - 1 night). Any guesses in what othe hotel will be offered? Thanks for your help!
  16. I tried multiple bids for 2* in Misssissauga hoping to get Fairfiled Inn again. Finally won at $59, was upgraded to a 2.5* and got Country Inn Suites in Oakville. Sept 9 -14 Country Inn Suites (Oakville) $59 I was bidding in Mississagua, hoping to get Oakville Hotels so it all worked out anyway. Now I just have to decide what to do with the rest of my dates...bid again or just extend my Country Inn stay. :)
  17. Bid $35 for 2 start in Mississauga, hoping to get Fairfield Inn. Bid rejected counter offer came up for $9 more, took the counter offer. I was happy to have gotten my choice of Fairfield but I had only booked one night hoping to extend my stay. I didn't realize you could only extend for the number nights you booked. In any case, the same price was not available for the extended stay. Since I'm looking for 12 more nights I tried again many times with different dates went up to $54 and was rejected. I really think the longer the stay the less likely you are to get a lower rate.
  18. The amenities were.... Complimentary Breakfast, Hi-SPeed Internet, Business, Laundry The price I paid was $66
  19. Purchased one night through hotwire for 3* Oakville, got Country Inn and Suites. Not too thrilled, was hoping for Homewood Suites. Oh well, I need 14 nights in total, so will try priceline for the rest of my stay.
  20. Hi My dates are Sept 1-15 3* Complimenary Breakfast Laundry Facilities Business Center High Speed Internet Access 2.5* Fitness Center Laundry Facilities Restaurants
