The purpose of the stay is merely to sleep. We leave for a cruise on the 8th - our flight does not arrive until almost midnight on the 7th - so we will either take a room near the airport because it would be a short distance to travel from the airport the night before or we will take one downtown, using the "short" ride portion to the pier in the morning. That's why I really didn't know what to do - or how to bid - since I really wasn't sure about what star rating to choose (2*? 2.5*? 3*?) nor the area for the hotel itself. All I know is that it would cost $70 a room just to make a reservation at a Motel 6 - and I was sure I could get a better room this way, even if it cost a little more (although it would be nice if it cost a little less so we could take more with us on the cruise!). Any help will be appreciated. 12Cats

Am new to this forum and have never bid on anything before. We are looking for 2 rooms in Seattle for one night either downtown or by the airport. How do I go about knowing what to bid? I have read some of the forums on the basics, but still feel like I am at sea here .... Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks. 12Cats
