Got a Chevy Blazer from Avis on a PCLN rental in Sept '02. Best internet rates were around $210/week. Using Priceline for car rentals doesn't save you much (like it does for hotels), but at this location we knew that all rental agencies are pretty much equal in terms of the number of minutes from bag claim to the road, so we accepted the small bone that Priceline offered - a $20 or so savings. Bids of $26 and $28 were rejected.

Note: We likely had to pay more for this hotel because we needed 2 rooms on the same bid. One-room bidders get this hotel for $30-36. Still, we were happy: the hotel is pretty nice for a Holiday Inn and worth the $44/night. Free shuttle to MCO.

Successful $42 bid at the Four Points Hotel in St. Paul. Spent Thanksgiving weekend there visiting family. SPG Gold benefits were offered without me asking for them. Nice room, nice hotel for a basic Four Points. Only property in its zone at the time.
