  1. Thanks for all of the help. It was the Wyndham Grand as you thought. Got it for $144 per night. Seems like a good deal and a decent hotel. Thanks again.
  2. Thanks for the quick reply. The probable MileNorth is no longer listed, but I do see the amenities listed as you described for the Wyndham Grand. Do you suggest that I go ahead and book now or is it likely that rates will come down more in the near future? I do have a backup reservation made that I can cancel. Thanks again.
  3. I'm looking for a 4* hotel in the Michigan Avenue area from September 13 thru 16. It would be great if you could help me identify two potential options. The amenities are: Pet Friendly Fitness Center Business Center Spa Service Boutique Restaurant Internet Roll-in Shower Accessible Bath The second is a 4* in the Mag. Mile North/Water Tower area. It has a 90% approval rating. The amenities are: Boutique Restaurant Self Service Laundry Fitness Center Business Center Internet Accessible for Blind Path of Travel Accessible Roll-in Shower Deaf Accessible In Room Accessibility Accessible Bath Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  4. Thanks Thereuare! I got my room, I followed your directions above. Started at $60 but didn't get accepted until I was on my last rebid and at my max. of $100. I got the Omni Shoreham in Dupont Circle-Woodley Park Zone. Three nights from June 10-June 13, 2004 at $100 per night. Your site was really helpful. Thanks again! Gene
  5. Thanks for your help. Of the 2, zone or price, I feel that price is more important (as long as I'm in one of those 3 zones). I've read about rebidding and I think I understand it. The maximum that I would want to spend is $100 per night. Looking forward to your reply. Gene
  6. I am a first time bidder and need help. I need 3 nights in DC (not suburbs) from 6/10-6/13/04. We would prefer a 4* in one of the following areas (in this order): 1. Dupont Circle 2. Whitehouse-Downtown 3. Convention Center-Capitol Hill I have researched some of the hotels listed on this site as Priceline 4*. They are on Expedia for between $180 and $250. How much should I bid? Can someone give me a bidding strategy? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Gene
