:) I used the HOTWIRE link. I've always got great hotels with this website. We'll see. After googling, found out that this is where the "Curvaceous Cuties" hang out. :) I'll drive by, but if it looks scary I'll press on through the night to Lake Placid. I should have tried the PRICELINE, but I'm hoping for the best. I will put out plenty of reviews after the trip.

:) Booked this same hotel a couple of weeks ago. Great location and a new vibe for me. We'll see if the construction on the hotel has started. I opted for this over a special I got from Marriott Residence Inn in West U area. I booked this through the bb forum HOTWIRE link. I did not see this price available through the regular hot wire link. Maybe it was just timing. Same facilities as before: *Pay for parking $12 self /$22 valet suite restaurant pool fitness etc....

:) Amenities: Suite Fitness Center Pool Restaurant Business Center High Speed Internet Hotel self parking $12.99 a day with tax. Great hotel, very quite, extremely centrally located - walk to the Galleria Thanks to better bidding - I got to stay at the DoubleTree and avoid the Omni. I don't care for the Omni's small rooms. Warning: The hotel sent a notice that construction on the entire building would begin on April 3, 2009 for a period of 5 months. Work would be 7 days a week from 9 am to 6 pm - heavy equipment, personenel on the balony and around windows.
