:) Bid also for the weekend beginning with 6-26 - 6-29 up to 90 a night they didn't take that bid. Changed dates and lowered to 79 and won the bid for 6-28 thru 7-1-09. Happy with beachfront holiday week for 79!
It was a nice place, very clean and close to Riverwind Casino. Very happy with my stay. Room had a kitchen, couch, queen bed. Staff was wonderful. Price for room on Expedia 99.00 a night!
Started my bid at 80 and jumped to 115 after 24 hours. won the bid at 115. I hope it's nice mixed reviews on trip advisor. I would think it's nice with it being Marriott brand. Most rooms there going for close to 300 a night on the weekend, so I got a good deal.
:) Hotwire put in Lake Mary and it pulled up a 3* Fitness, Rest,Hi Speed internet, Pool, Bus center. I got it for $59 with tax $71.75 Marriott Lake Mary Florida. I looked up on the Marriott site and a room was $199. I needed a hotel close to SFB and many othes were already sold out in that area.
I stayed at the Gaylord Palms with my son last year and it was well worth the price. It's close to Disney and away from the traffic, beautiful room and wonderful service. They gave us a room with a balcony overlooking the atrium. The only problem I found at the Gaylord was the food is very high, so if you are on a budget look elsewhere for your meals. The pools were great and the alligators in the atrium were a lot of fun for my son. We had free computer and internet service. I would love to go back to the Gaylord and I thought the rooms and service were much nicer than the Disney Carribean or Orleans rooms. Enjoy your stay, we didn't want to leave the resort!
I stayed at the Gaylord this summer and it was beautiful. They gave us a great room, the service is fantastic! The food is very expensive here so try to eat outside the resort. This resort was the highlight of our trip....enjoy!
