This is an amazing place.Be sure to push for an upgrade.Lotsa of action nearby......usually a band ,etc.Lots of people watching.We won this on an auction (Skyauction).Rooftop pool is posh,music,bar and is a night club in the p.m.Parking is costly though.Super safe area to walk around but stay within the advised area.Enjoy.

Be aware you will have to pay a $12/day "resort fee" for parking and bottled water.Just stayed there and enjoyed the view immensely.Ask away if you have questions.Cheers.

We tried to bid for a car during this exact time frame last year in fort lauderdale and were told that ALL cars were in fact sold out for the holidays. So it could be the same in miami.

You missed this rule.

If you post your win then bump this up then you will get replies.

I basically had the same happen.So much for customer service.they literally blocked my emails so as not to address my complaint.Unless it is a quality issue(which I have obtained refunds on) good luck. :)

Sorry but I have no idea what it is that you want me to do.

I convinced my father of the virtues of name your own price and bid on a 2.5 in Myrtle Beach S.C.After upping my bid to $55 it was accepted at Sand Dunes Resort.But guess what ....online it was actually cheaper by $4.Priceline did offer to refund $4 but I am still feeling ripped off.I have fired off several emails requesting an upgrade, etc.And believe me I have got several refunds by this disgraceful customer service dept.This is the first time that I have ever encountered this problem.I do not like spending time bidding when I could have just paid the resort directly.Any comments on how to get Priceline to do the right thing for a loyal customer ? :)

We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks in 2005.It was actually quite nice.We got friendly with the front desk staff and got upgraded to club level and free breakfast vouchers.The pool area was large.The only thing is you are not close to anything.They did have a free shuttle though.We paid only $45 but that was 2 years ago.Other guests we spoke to told us they were quite happy to get a convention rate of $129.So you did very well.

I have been bidding fairly regularly on fort lauderdale (airport ,downtown ,beach,west plantation ).Went up to $61 and down to 2.5 stars.Used all my free bids trying.Besides waiting any other comments or suggestions ?????Dec 27 + 28 2007.I also have been lookind at hotwire but nothing suitable.

If you do decide to book directly ther is a Holiday Inn within walking distance.It was nothing special but there was a free shuttlecont. breakfast,BUT i did not like the outside corridors.It was not a very nice area of town when i was there for a game a few years ago.
