Thank you for all your help. You make a somewhat confusing process very understandable. To where even I can do it!
I checked hotwire again today and it was up there for 99/night. I don't know why it wasn't there yesterday. But its back. One more question for you.
I need to get two rooms that weekend(12/21-12/23) one for two nights and one for one night. Am I better off doing two seperate transactions or can I do both in the same bid on priceline?
Yesterday I looked on HOTWIRE for a 4* Downtown Atlanta from 12/21-12/23. Found one for $99 that fit the description on your list of the Omni at the CNN Center. Today I looked at that hotel is no longer on the list. Could they have taken it off the list? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Well I found it using your hotwire guide for $99/night. Which is still cheaper than listed on their website. I could gamble and maybe get it for cheaper on priceline. Its just my wife and I really like that hotel and would prefer to stay there. So I will probably end up using hotwire. The amenities matched those on your list for 4*/downtown Atlanta.
I am trying to get the Omni hotel in downtown Atlanta for 12/21-12/23. I saw a bunch of other people getting the Hyatt Regency and The Glenn Hotel for cheaper. Would my best bet be to just use Hotwire? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I forgot to mention I went through savingsbarn.com as well.

This was my first try at bidding for a room. It is listed on the website for $125/night, So needless to say I was very happy! In retrospect I probably could have gotten away with even lower!! But thanks to this site I saved a pretty penny and can't wait to do it again!!
My wife and I are going to Orlando from Sept. 21-24 and I was looking for a 3 or 4 star hotel. I didn't know how much I should expect to pay, and have never used Priceline or Hotwire. If anyone could give me some pointers I would greatly appreciate it!! Also I wondered if it is too early and should I wait to look. Clark Howard referred to this site, it is great very informative!!

I read on the website that they have a free shuttle. So hopefully that helps with going downtown. I am thinking of staying there in November so I look forward to hearing about your stay.
