  1. I read on the website that they have a free shuttle. So hopefully that helps with going downtown. I am thinking of staying there in November so I look forward to hearing about your stay.
  2. 1st bid!! Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $60.00 Subtotal: $60.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $16.18 Total Charges*: $76.18
  3. Started at $50 -Declined Added rebid zone Stone Mountain rebid $55 Got it! Thanx to this site I never overpay! Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $55.00 Subtotal: $110.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $24.15 Total Charges*: $134.15
  4. Thank you for all your help. You make a somewhat confusing process very understandable. To where even I can do it!
  5. I checked hotwire again today and it was up there for 99/night. I don't know why it wasn't there yesterday. But its back. One more question for you. I need to get two rooms that weekend(12/21-12/23) one for two nights and one for one night. Am I better off doing two seperate transactions or can I do both in the same bid on priceline?
  6. Yesterday I looked on HOTWIRE for a 4* Downtown Atlanta from 12/21-12/23. Found one for $99 that fit the description on your list of the Omni at the CNN Center. Today I looked at that hotel is no longer on the list. Could they have taken it off the list? Any help is greatly appreciated.
  7. Well I found it using your hotwire guide for $99/night. Which is still cheaper than listed on their website. I could gamble and maybe get it for cheaper on priceline. Its just my wife and I really like that hotel and would prefer to stay there. So I will probably end up using hotwire. The amenities matched those on your list for 4*/downtown Atlanta.
  8. I am trying to get the Omni hotel in downtown Atlanta for 12/21-12/23. I saw a bunch of other people getting the Hyatt Regency and The Glenn Hotel for cheaper. Would my best bet be to just use Hotwire? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  9. Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $70.00 Subtotal: $210.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $37.20 Total Charges*: $247.20 This was my first try at bidding for a room. It is listed on the website for $125/night, So needless to say I was very happy! In retrospect I probably could have gotten away with even lower!! But thanks to this site I saved a pretty penny and can't wait to do it again!!
  10. My wife and I are going to Orlando from Sept. 21-24 and I was looking for a 3 or 4 star hotel. I didn't know how much I should expect to pay, and have never used Priceline or Hotwire. If anyone could give me some pointers I would greatly appreciate it!! Also I wondered if it is too early and should I wait to look. Clark Howard referred to this site, it is great very informative!!
