Used Better bidding PRICELINE link With the last few posts I observed, I was 99% expecting HGI Perimeter.... 1. First bid at $35, received notice that I could add $10.00 to bid to secure room. Denied offer. 2. Second bid with free re-bid zone and rasied bid to just $36. 3. Won bid. 2 room for $36 a night. Wow!

Thanks to akashic24 for the posting on 06/09 that changed my mind to bid for 2.5* in the suburb than 3* at Airport OHare area, where the reviews in PL make the hotel choice not appealing. Used Better bidding PRICELINE link Two days ago ... first bid $40 Arlington Heights 2.5* - rejected first free rebid by adding Algonquin (no 2.5 or higher there) $42 - rejected second free rebid by adding Aurora (same as above) $43 - rejected Yesterday ... first bid $41 Arlington Heights 2.5* - rejected first free rebid by adding Algonquin (no 2.5 or higher there) $43 - rejected second free rebid by adding Aurora (same as above) $45 - rejected Today ... first bid $46 Arlington Heights 2.5* - accepted. at the Courtyard by Marriott in Arlington Heights 6/19-6/22

Rejected. $85 with airport, rejected. $90 rejected. Third time try: $89 for 4*, Downtown Philadelphia. Rejected. $89 3* Downtown Philadelphia. Accepted. Tough bid!!! It appears that the price had gone up in the last two weeks? Now have to deal with downtown parking in Philly.

Bidding for 1 rooms. First bid for $42 for 3* Downtown Lexington rejected. Added North Lexington. Did Realize that adding North is not a re-bid zone. Just wanted to let Four Points into the list anyway. Bid $44 rejected. Add Lex East and bid again at $46. Rejected. Add Lex South and bid again. Accepted at $48. One 3* room $48.00 + $14.01 (taxes) = $62.01 total.
