  1. After numerous emails to Hotwire about Mount Pocono Motel not being a name brand hotel, Howire agreed and refunded my money. I am very please with that final result. that place was the cheapest place to stay in the entire area and should not have been sold as a 2 star name brand hotel. Buyer Beware!
  2. I booked a 2* Hotel today via Hotwire for a Saturday nite stay in Mount Pocono, PA. I ended up with a very rundown Mount Pocono Motel as what I got even though in the Hotwire guidelines I was to receive a 2* name brand Hotel ( Days Inn, La quinta, Quality Inn, or similar ). Instead I got a motel. Just wanted to let this board know about this. I called Hotwire and they told me they could care less. I have since disputed it with my credit card. This " motel " has awful reviews all over the internet and is listed as 1* on priceline. I got ripped off. Also i found it for $15 less on a lot of other sites.
  3. We booked a downtown area 3* hotel in Chattanooga, TN. on 10/23/07 via PRICELINE. We had bid $70 the day before for a 3* but got turned down. This time we bid $85 and they accepted and gave us The Marriott Convention Center Chattanooga downtown Hotel. It was very nice for the price. This was one of the 3 top hotels in all of Chattanooga. Had room service, Shuttle service, restaurant on site, business center, indoor free parking and much more.
  4. We booked a 3* hotel via Hotwire on Oct 21, 2007 in Chattanooga, TN. downtown area. We got The Holiday Inn Chattanooga Choo Choo Hotel. Was very nice for the $59 a night price. Went for $139 a night on the regular website. Had room service, shuttle service, restaurants on premises, and much more.

  7. I checked Hotwire Thursday July 5th for hotels in Allentown, PA. Nothing cheap unless you wanted a 1* for around $60. 3* was 90+ dollars. I checked again today ( Friday July 6th 2007 ) and they were offering a 3* for $49.00 which was cheaper than the 1, 2, and 2.5*. I accepted the price and got The Crowne Plaza Hotel which is a full service hotel in downtown Allentown, PA in the business district. Total cost with tax and fees was $60.47. What a bargain!!!
