hotel collects this fee of about $5 per night directly from you, so it won't show in your Hotwire total."

I booked using your HOTWIRE Link. The reviews seem nice. The price is great, especially considering it is Thanksgiving week-end.

  3. We have stayed here 3 times; on a time share presentation, booked through motel's website ($59,) and booked through Hotwire ($32.) All three stays were identical rooms, always on the west side of the building. Motel entrance is on route 192 about 8 miles east of the Disney World entrance. Route 192 has a median, so you must make U-turns.

From the outside, it is an older motel, rooms exit directly into parking lot, tidy, but not fancy.

Inside, the rooms have been remodeled. The king-size bed is separated from the sofa-bed by a half wall. There is a small kitchenette ( small fridge, micro, coffee maker, sink, cabinet and granite counter top.) The bathroom is small, the bathroom sink area has granite counter matching the kitchenette. The rooms have crown molding and a huge beveled edged mirror. The complimentary serve-yourself breakfast is basic, cereal, bagels, Belgian waffles, fruit, yogurt, juice and coffee: not fancy, but it is free.

What we enjoy the most is the free access to Oak Plantation Resort's amenities. There is a resort type pool area, two pools, kid's squirty activity area, tiki bar, many lounge chairs. There are scheduled children's activities, there is a computer room, snack shop, landscaped area, and pond. They have scheduled transportation to the Parks, but we've never used it, so I don't know how often it runs.

Within a mile of the motel is a 7-11 convenience store, shopping center, several restaurants and a Walmart.
