  1. Amenities - pet friendly, boutique hotel, smoke free, fitness center, restaurant(s), business center, Internet access, spa services. Bed choice available. Sorry not not to include it in first post, but I hadn't seen any 5* in Chelsea, so I didn't think any other description was necessary. I am not familiar with the Easyview tab yet. Could it it be the Kimpton Eventi? Most sites give the Eventi a 4.5* rating. However, with a bit more research, It appears Hotwire may consider it a 5*.
  2. I do not see a listing for a five-star hotel in Chelsea yet. It appears to be a new hotel on HOTWIRE.
  3. Hotwire showed a room for $116 listing the usual amenities, high speed Internet, business center, restaurant, Pool, fitness center. I was hoping for thr Hilton or the W. For $116, it is a great deal in a great location. I used your HOTWIRE link for my purchase. Thanks.
  4. March 7th - 8th 4* Hotel I started a bit low knowing there are 6 free re-bids. My first bid of $127 was ACCEPTED at The Affinia Dumont I used your link to PRICELINE and appreciate all your help.
  5. Property showed: Boutique, Fitness, Restaurant, Bus Ctr, High Speed Internet, Golf nearby $166 a night. It is the Whitehall. I hope its nice. I was hoping for the Talbot. I used your link to go to HOTWIRE.
  6. I stayed at the Sutton Place 2 years ago. It is a very nice hotel in a great location. We asked if they had any upgrades available, and at no charge, we ended up in a suite with a kitchen and living area. We also got our rooms on HOTWIRE, so it never hurts to ask.
  7. As I continue to slowly up my bid after waiting a few days, my last bid was $171 and no luck with a 4* room. Hotwire has a Boutique 4* for $186 and I may take it. I researched Seattle at that time and there are no large festivals. It may be that I need 2 rooms for 4 nights and there is something tough about that combination. I always use the link on your site. Thanks for everything.
  8. Bidding on DT Seattle, 4* only, Aug 5th - 9th. Wednesday, started at $72 and using "free re-bids" got all the way to $112 with no luck. Today, started at $90, and unsuccessfully bid to $138 Any thoughts? Of course, I used your PRICELINE link.
  9. The Sofitel, if that location is good for you, is beautiful. Interesting, modern architecture.
  10. Hotwire showed a 4.5 star hotel in Chicago for $106/night. It was the Inter Continental which is really nice and that is a great price. Of course, I used your HOTWIRE link for my purchase. Thanks.
  11. I have been the Ess a Bagel on 21st St @ 1 Ave and it was the BEST bagel with Lox and cream cheese I have ever had.
  12. For 3 days I have been trying to get 2 rooms for 9/12 - 9/14th. My preference was Cen Park South, where the 4* hotels are all very nice. I started bidding at $125 and in NYC you get 5 free bids. I bumped the bidding up by approx $8 per bid. After the 2nd day and getting rejected at $200/night, I added Mid Town East and dropped the bid to $140 and started again. This morning, my bid of $220/night was accepted at the Omni Bershire Place. The current rate is over $350 per night and the location is great. My hopes of getting a room for $150/night were overly optimistic. Of course, I used the better bidding PRICELINE link to purchase my room. Thanks for all the help. Luckydog
  13. 14. I am going to SF from July 25-28th. Hotwire shows a 4* in USW for $99. They show Fitness Center, POOL, Restaurant, Business Center and High Speed internet. Any help would be appreciated.
  15. I used Hotwire for a 4.5* in USE and it was The Palace. I believe it is now a 4*, so you are probably getting the Inter-Continental. The Palace is an easy walk to everything and the lobby/hotel is gorgeous.
  16. 4* DT Toronto West $89 a night Fitness Center Pool Restaurant Business Center High Speed Internet
  17. I bid several times increasing each bid by $8 until I got the Hyatt-Town Lake for $91. Its the nicest hotel close to Zilker Park.
  18. I just bid $95 for a 4* hotel in Downtown Seattle 2 nights, July 3th and 4th. It was my first bid and it was accepted. I will be staying at the Sheraton which, based on the reviews, appears to be nice.
