I logged into priceline today and no 4 star options were listed for either downtown or beach areas in Fort Lauderdale.

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt in February, 2005. We were on a pre-cruise stay in which we were taking the whole family. We had 4 rooms that I got through Hotwire. The staff was extremely courteous. The rooms were great and the beds extremely comfortable. Our grandchildren enjoyed the boardwalk and the man-made beach where they played in the sand.

Priceline use to claim that all of their reservations were for non-smoking rooms. When did this change?

Thanks for the tip on the special at the Host casinos. We just got back We had the Orleans for $90.47 for 3 nights including tax. It was really a great place. The free shuttle to the strip every 15 minutes worked out well. We transferred to Monte Carlo when I had a business meeting and the company was picking up the tab. The rooms were smaller, food and drinks were much more expensive than at Orleans.

I haven't done anything in regards to Tampa as we now have 2 more people that may or may not go. I booked a cintingency and will look to Priceline or Hotwire when they make their minds up.
