  2. We are going back to Disneyland YEAH!!!!. This time I am surprising the wife and kids. I looked at the other treads and saw that other members were successfully getting the Marriott Suites for $70, so I though why not give it a shot. Very happy to have gotten this property, as we have stayed here before. Started at $66- i got counter offer to increase my bid to $80 i declined. I knew i was close.:) + Seal Beach $69- declined +San Clemente $70- SUCCESS! Offer Price: avg. per room, per night $70.00 Rooms: 1 Room Subtotal: $350.00 Taxes & Fees: $58.50 Total Charged to Card: $408.50 *Prices are in US dollars. As always used thed PRICELINE links located in home page. Thanks BETTERBIDDING!!!
  3. My patience finally paid off. This morning I did another search using the BiddingHelper.com tool on this site and noticed that prices during my planned vacation were $90 a night on HOTWIRE and based on the amenities listed i knew it was the Hyatt which i like a lot. so i decided to try Priceline, I followed the PRICELINE link on this site, to see if i can get it for lower than $90. This is how it went. BIDDING ACTIVITY: 1. 4*Disneyland - Anaheim Convention Center - Garden Grove $77 ---(Rejected) I was offer to raised my bid by $15 to $92 however i declined since i knew i was pretty close. 2. add re-bid zone $82: SUCCESS... Offer Price: avg. per room, per night $82.00 Rooms: 1 Nights: 4 + Add nights for the same rate! Room Subtotal: $328.00 Taxes & Fees: $55.68 Total Charged to Card: $383.68 I got the Hyatt Regency Orange County I have stayed in this hotel in the past and is very nice Super Excited!!!!
  4. thereuare, that is correct $99 would the max i want to bid, so i will try that this week to see how it goes.
  5. When i look at the "Disneyland - Anaheim Convention Center - Garden Grove" area i see that the Doubletree Hotel that is located on 100 The City Dr S, Orange, CA 92868 is actually not part of zone 8 which is the new "Disneyland - Anaheim Convention Center - Garden Grove" area. The Doubletree that is located on City Dr. is actually part of zone 16 which or "Orange". Now i do know that there is another Doubletree hotel right on S harbor blvd. and i would be ok with that one.
  6. thereuare, thanks for the reply. When you say doubletree on your reply above are you referencing the Doubletree located @ 100 The City Dr S, Orange? The reason i ask is because i would hate to get stuck with that hotel as it is pretty far away from the park and plus their shuttle service is not the best, is very limited. I would not mind sticking with Priceline, and increasing my bid all the way to $99.00 or so. in advanced thanks for the help.
  7. I recently took a trip to Vegas and i used Hotwire on this forum to make my purchase. see details below: NOTE: this hotel had and additional $28 resort fee on top of the per night fee which is charged once you leave the hotel. $100/ per night Spa Services Resort Free Parking Pet friendly Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Kitchenette Hotel Rate per night: $100.00 Nights: 3 Rooms: 1 Tax recovery charges & fees: $48.50 Subtotal: $348.50 Trip total: $348.50 I stayed at the Trump International Hotel & Tower Las Vegas this hotel is very nice, however please note their pool is not as nice when compared to other pools from other 5 start hotels in the area. Also for all you gamblers this hotel does not have a casino. My wife and i like the room it was very nice mini suite, the only problem we had was that anytime we wanted to go to the other casinos/hotels we had to take a cab, the cab fees added up very quick. So next time i go to Vegas i will try to avoid this hotel at all cost due to the fact that is about 1 block away from the main strip and i was spending around $40 - $50 on a daily basis on cabs. However if you prefer you can always walk and save the the cab fees....:)
  8. I would like to stay $96 or less. I will also start on checking HOTWIRE to see if i find anything...

  10. hwfiv, I have stayed at the Marriot Suites once, and it is a nice hotel specially if your going with kids rooms are nice and spacious. If i remember correctly parking was $12 per night and i want to say $3-$4 for the shuttle ride for adults, kids were free. Its only a short 10 minute shuttle drive from the park.
