No I have been bidding for 3 rooms.

Not sure what the problem is but I have been bidding for over a month now and have not won anything. I'm no newbie to this, I can bid in my sleep, but I can't break this one. Any guesses thereuare? I bidded for 3 rooms.

While it is a holiday weekend, the rates aren't through the roof so I can't fathom why my bids aren't being taken. I have bidded this area a few times in the past, once $68 (Manchester Hyatt) and the other $78 (Sheraton Marina) and the rates were a lot higher $229+. I am Puzzled . . . below are the rates for my date. :)

Awesome deal (I think)! This is an awesome resort and excellent price over a holiday weekend (Labor Day)! :) Tried to use the BB link but it kept giving me an error message. Might be the firewall at my job because I booked this at work.

I'm with you. . . . I won this hotel last July and LOVED IT. Location is second to none, service was very good, rooms where spacious (newly renovated) and very comfortable, and the pool area is amazing!!!! Not to add this hotel is on the beach. I would love to get this win again, but for October I got the Marriott. The Marriott is fine, but IMO the Sheraton Waikiki is the BEST!!!!! Anybody winning this hotel will not be disappointed.

Just booked another room for my brother for the same time, price, and dates. Used the BB PRICELINE link.

Used the BB PRICELINE link, however, I must admit I am a little disappointed :) . Was hoping for either Sheraton or Hyatt. Saw a beachfront resort on HOTWIRE for $119 a night for my dates. Thought for sure I would be getting the Sheraton. I'm a PRICELINE junkie so I knew the risk, so for sure this won't ruin my trip. I'm just happy to be going to Hawaii AGAIN! :)

Anyhow, lowest price on marriott.com is $239 a night so I still saved almost 60%. Now I need to book my hotel for 4 nights on the Big Island and my trip will be set. Will wait closer to the date to bid on that.

Lowest rate on SPG.com is $122, so I think did pretty well saving about 62%. Very happy with this win! :)

I'll be staying in here July 8 - 13th and I called ahead and requested 2 double beds with no problems. However, I do believe that they do charge an extra person fee for the 3rd and 4th person if they are over the age of 17 (kids stay for free). So if don't want to pay the extra fee, I would not advise them that you have 4 adults in the room, just request two double beds and leave it at that.
