  1. Two Priceline updates for Washington State: The Holiday Inn Downtown Everett (North Everett) has been upgraded to 3*. The Ramada Spokane Airport has been upgraded to 3*.
  2. Hotwire has split its Portland Airport PDX zone into two zones: Airport PDX Entrance - Cascade Station and Airport PDX Perimeter. If I'm reading the Hotwire map correctly, the Holiday Inn and America's Best Value Inn are in the Airport PDX Perimeter zone, and the other reported hotels are in the Airport PDX Entrance - Cascade Station zone. The Sheraton is listed twice; the 3.5* listing is the newer (and correct) one.
  3. In the future, please keep all posts pertaining to the same stay in one topic. In your second post, the 4* Portland South hotel is a match for the Avalon Hotel and Spa, which as far as I know is the only hotel in this zone.
  4. In your first post... The 3.5* hotel is a match for the Hotel Fifty. The Hilton frequently comes up at this star level as well, but has never been reported with this set of amenities. The 4* is a match for the Benson.
  5. Chris, hotel rates are date-dependent. $30 would be a steal now, but Priceline rates in general have gone up somewhat since thesqueegeekid posted this win back in 2003 (the hotel also didn't have complimentary breakfast back then, but that's a minor point). Is your accepted bid at the Hilton related to this Seattle topic that you started? If so, please conclude it by posting the details of your bid in that thread.
  6. Priceline updates in Toronto: The Airport YYZ zone has been split into two zones: Airport East and Airport West. Toronto (Airport East) 4* Marriott Toronto Airport 4* Sheraton Airport Hotel and Conference Center (801 Dixon Rd) 4* Sheraton Gateway 4* Westin Bristol Place 3* Doubletree 3* Hilton 3* Holiday Inn Airport East (600 Dixon) 3* Holiday Inn Select Airport (970 Dixon) 3* Hotel Indigo 3* Radisson Suites 2.5* Fairfield Inn And Suites (previously 2*) 2.5* Quality Hotel 2.5* Quality Inn and Suites Airport East 2* Park Inn Hwy 27 Toronto (Airport West) 3* Courtyard Marriott Airport Corporate Center West 3* Four Points West 3* Residence Inn Corporate Center West 2* Comfort Inn Airport West The Mississauga and Oakville - Burlington zones have been reconfigured into three zones: Mississauga, Oakville - Mississauga South, and Burlington - Oakville South. Toronto (Mississauga) 3* Courtyard by Marriott 3* Four Points Meadowvale 3* Holiday Inn Toronto West (100 Britannia Road Eest) 3* Novotel 3* Radisson 3* Residence Inn Toronto (Oakville - Mississauga South) 2.5* Country Inn Oakville 2.5* Fairfield Inn Oakville (previously 2*) Toronto (Burlington - Oakville South) 3* Holiday Inn Burlington 3* Holiday Inn Select Oakville
  7. The 4.5* is a match for the Fairmont Scottsdale; the 4* is a match for the Westin Kierland Resort. If you decide to book one of these hotels, please start your purchase from the Hotwire link on this site.
  8. Welcome to BetterBidding, rsainfo. We can't make an informed comment on this unless we have some idea of what hotel you're looking at (the Hyatt Regency is not the only 4.5* hotel in Scottsdale). Please give us your check-in/check-out dates, as well as the zone (Scottsdale or North Scottsdale) and all the amenities listed (use the "see all amenities link" to make sure you have them all).
  9. This Scottsdale 3* hasn't been identified either. The Clarion Scottsdale is a possibility, but I can't make a confident guess from the information given. The set of amenities for the North Scottsdale 3* is a match for La Quinta Inn & Suites Scottsdale on Hotwire's old vacation packages (thankfully, I kept a list before Hotwire switched to using Expedia's vacation packages), so that would be my best guess for that one.
  10. My best guess is the Hotel Fifty, though it was last reported with fewer amenities than this listing shows. If you decide to book this hotel, please start your purchase from the Hotwire link on this site. Also, please conclude this Hotwire Las Vegas topic.
  11. Already noted here. There are no reported hotels in the Happy Valley Area, which is why the zone doesn't appear in the Hotel List.
  12. The set of amenities is a match for the Strathcona.
  13. The Phoenix Inn Suites has been reported with this set of amenities. It was (incorrectly) posted in the Washington State forum and is on that forum's hotel list.
  14. Priceline has split the Metrocenter zone in Phoenix, AZ into two zones: Phoenix Metrocenter and Happy Valley Area. All reported hotels in the old Metrocenter zone are in the new Metrocenter zone. There is one update to the list, however: the 3* Park Plaza North is now a 2* Comfort Inn. Priceline update in Portland, OR: the Hotel B (Beaverton - Hillsboro) has been downgraded to 2.5*.
  15. Priceline has split two zones in Dallas, TX: Frisco - Plano West has been split into Frisco - Plano North and Plano West. All reported hotels in the old Frisco - Plano West zone are in the new Frisco - Plano North zone. East Dallas - Mesquite has been split into East Dallas - Mesquite and Garland. The one hotel reported in the old East Dallas - Mesquite zone is in the new Garland zone. The Plano zone is now called Plano East. (There is also a new zone, Lewisville, that has hotels up to 3*.)
  16. Priceline's Universal Studios - Seaworld zone in Orlando, FL has been split into two zones: Seaworld - Intl. Drive - Convention Center and Universal Orlando Resort Area - Intl. Drive North. Orlando (Seaworld - Intl. Drive - Convention Center) Resort JW Marriott Grande Lakes 4* Peabody 4* Renaissance Orlando Resort 4* Westin Imagine 3.5* Rosen Centre 3.5* Rosen Plaza 3* Courtyard 3* Doubletree Castle 3* Doubletree Resort Orlando International Drive (formerly International Plaza Resort and Spa) 3* Hilton Garden Inn Seaworld Center 3* Homewood Suites 3* Hyatt Place Convention Center 3* Radisson Orlando International Drive (formerly 2* Orlando Metropolitan Resort) 2.5* Hampton Inn I-Drive Convention Center (8900 Universal Blvd) 2* Comfort Suites Universal South 2* Days Inn Convention Center 2* Extended StayAmerica Convention Center (Westwood Blvd) 2* Ramada Convention Center I-Drive 1* Imperial Swan Hotel and Suites (previously 2*) Orlando (Universal Orlando Resort Area - Intl. Drive North) 3.5* Crowne Plaza Universal 3.5* Doubletree Orlando Universal 3.5* Wyndham Orlando (I-Drive) 3* Four Points Studio City Sheraton Studio City 3* Hyatt Place Universal 3* Residence Inn (Canada Ave) 2.5* Clarion Universal (now Best Western Orlando Gateway... not yet reported to the board) 2.5* Hampton Inn I-Drive North (7448 International Drive) 2.5* Holiday Inn I-Drive 2* Holiday Inn And Suites Universal (previously 3*) 2* Orlando Metropolitia PRICELINE EXPRESS 2* Extended StayAmerica Universal (Major Blvd) 2* Extended Stay Deluxe (Vineland Road) 2* Ramada Inn International Drive Lakefront (formerly 2.5* Wellesley Inn I-Drive)
  17. Priceline's Summerlin - Northwest Las Vegas zone has been split into two zones: Summerlin and NW Las Vegas. All reported hotels in the old zone are in the new Summerlin zone.
  18. Two more San Francisco Priceline updates: The Maxwell Hotel (USW-Nob Hill) is now the 2* Hotel Frank. The Travelodge By The Bay (Fisherman's Wharf) has been downgraded to 1*.
  19. The hotel hasn't been identified. My best guess would be the Ramada Spokane Airport; the Holiday Inn Spokane Airport is also a possibility. If you decide to book this hotel, please start your purchase from the HOTWIRE link on this site.
  20. I hate to break this to you, Malcolm, but check your confirmation again: that was a 2.5* hotel you stayed in. And, unfortunately, there's no way to avoid it if you're bidding for a hotel in this area through Priceline.
  21. Despite the TripAdvisor rating, I can't confidently identify this hotel because it almost certainly has more amenities than are listed. My best guess is the Holiday Inn Express Scottsdale.
  22. There is also a 4* hotel in the same zone with the same set of amenities. It's likely that both are the Grand Sierra, with the 4.5* being a better class of rooms at the hotel than the 4*. My first guess was that the 4.5* was the Summit at the Grand Sierra, but that's not consistent with the TripAdvisor information (3.0 rating). But it's possible, I guess, that Hotwire used the Grand Sierra's rating by mistake (the Summit is rated separately on TripAdvisor; it's rating is 4.0).
  23. They could very well give you two doubles. Every hotel is different; there's no way to know for sure what type of room they'll assign you.
  24. It looks like Hotwire has changed the boundary of the Seattle Center zone again. The hotel is a match for the Pan Pacific, which was in the Pike Place zone for a while, and is now back in this one. If you decide to book this hotel, please start your purchase from the Hotwire link on this site.
