  1. Used the PRICELINE link. 2 Rooms, 3* Saturday July 19th 1st Bid: Quincy Market - $75 REJECTED 2nd Bid: Added South Boston - $80 REJECTED 3rd Bid: Added Brighton $85 REJECTED 4th Bid: Added Medford $90 ACCEPTED and upgraded to 4* Hyatt Regency Boston My wife is using these rooms for an engagement party. We've stayed here before and the place is really nice. Good downtown location right next to the T. Couldn't be happier.
  2. Trying to get 3 nights close to Virginia Beach. Specific hotel goal of Courtyard Virginia Beach 3* in the Virginia Beach Pembroke area. Bid 1: Virginia Beach (Pembroke Area) 3* - $55 Rejected Bid 2: Added Virginia Beach Area - $60 Rejected Bid 3: Added Downtown Norfolk - $65 Rejected Bid 4: Added Chesapeake (Browers Hill) $70 Rejected Bid 5: Added Chesapeake (Churchland - Suffolk) $75 ACCEPTED Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Subtotal: $225 Taxes/Fees: $43.48 Total: $268.48 Nightly Avg: $89.50 Hotel Internet rate of approx $160.00 fo 3 night savings of $212.00 While Norfolk isn't very close to Virginia Beach, I think we'll be happy being in a city next to the huge MacAurther center mall and shops. I had previously tried to win hotels 3* and above in the Virginia Beach Area zone exclusively, but found no luck bidding up to $100.00. That wasn't surprising, as its peak season and even a 2* can demand $200 rates per night. While I was pretty close to biting the bullet and booking the Holiday inn Surfside (@$210), my hotel cheapness took over when I thought about how I could spend the $400 savings. Used the PRICELINE link of course!
  3. Thanks to all who posted prior wins. First attempt, $55.00, with taxes $70.20. Used the PRICELINE link because this site is awesome.
  4. Sure, amenities same as those shown on the hotel board...Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business.
  5. Used Priceline to no avail trying to get a hotel in the city. Wednesday's are apparently not so great for good deals. I'm happy with this hotel's location. Used the HOTWIRE link of course.
  6. I've seen the Hilton at Logan airport won many times at 75 or less. I personally won three nights there at $65 back in September of 2006. They have a free shuttle that runs to the T...it takes about 30 minutes to get into boston using that setup.
