I got the Sheraton Bal Harbor on Priceline for $101.00 per night for July 29 thru Aug. 1. I feel like I got a good deal since I can not find the hotel at any other sight for under $269.00 per night.

Does anyone know what this hotel is? 4*, Miami Beach- beachfront, restaurant, pool, fitness, business center. $92.00/night, best value My dates are July 29- Aug. 1 Thanks

Isn't the Fontainbleau a Priceline Hotel located in Miami Beach. I do not see it listed on the Priceline Hotel List?

Those rates were for city view - we want oceanview and those room are higher.

Still trying to get Sonesta on Key Biscayne. Want oceanfront room and the cheapest rate I have found is $199.00. Will start my bidding higher next time.

Decided to try Hotwire and the rate had gone up to $71.00 for the 4*. It turned out to be the Crown Plaza Royal Palm Resort just like everyone said it would be!! Booked 2 rooms for 3 nights and feel good about the decision. Now I am trying to get the Sonesta Resort on Key Biscayne for the 3 night before the Crown Plaza. Does Hotwire ever have that one? It looks like they don't since Key Biscayne is not on their map. I know priceline does but hear it is really hard to get??

Do you know if only resort level hotels in South Beach are all beachfront? I know 4* could be both but was wondering about only resort level??

Your are right - that is taking the risk - I did find a rate for the Sonesta on quikbook for $153.00. Is the hotel even that nice?? I get really good reviews and a few bad ones.

I did exactly what you said to do with re-bidding but no luck. Do you think it is worth it to try again in 72 hours? Really want that Key Biscayne hotel!!

The 4.5* says resort, beachfront, resturant, pool, fitness, business center, spa, children activities, and the 4* says beachfront, resturant, pool, fitness center, laundry and today the price is $68.00 not $90.00. The 4.5* is still at $189.00. Do you know what hotels these might be? Thanks

Hotwire gave me a rate of $189 for a 4.5* hotel for Aug. 1-4 and a rate of $90 for a 4*. Does anyone know what these hotels would be??

Will be staying in South Beach and will need 2 rooms since we will have 2 teens with us. Would prefer a resort since rates should be lower when we will be there (Aug. 1, 2 and 3). Want oceanfront, good pool and large hotel. What chances would I have getting a resort that time of year for under $75.00? Are all 4* hotels oceanfront? How low could I go for a 4*?? Want to go to Key Biscayne for 3 nights starting July 29th. I think the Sonesta Resort is the one priceline has?? Is there any chance I will be able to get it ? Is 90.00 to low? Have another question - Also want a good hotel in South Beach starting Aug. 1 for 3 nights. Aren't rates a lot lower that time of year? Want beachfront resort or 4*. Are all priceline resorts and 4* hotels beachfront?? What would be a good bid for either one. We really do want beachfront, good pool and large hotel - any suggestions?
