Dulles - Crown Plaza vs Hilton Hello again. Dates have changed so I am back to searching out Dulles area hotels. Seach yielded a 3.5 * with amenities that match 3.5* Crowne Plaza Amenities: Shuttle, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Business (same as Hilton Dulles) 3.5* Hilton Dulles Airport Amenities: Shuttle, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Business (same as Crowne Plaza) Can someone tell me exactly what property this is? I looked at both Hilton and Crowne Plaza websites and they each have a very different property near Dulles. Any help greatly appreciated!

So for the first time I ever I booked a HOTWIRE room without knowing in advance what hotel I would get. July 12-14 Columbus OSU Area *** Amenities Breakfast, Fitness, Pool, Business, Internet $79 Turned out to be Holiday Inn Express I-70 State Fair/Expo Center On the plus side the location is great and the hotel has been positively reviewed. On the negative side the rack rate is $86 so this isn't exactly the deal of the century. I will let you all know how the hotel turns out.

Yes I will be traveling with someone who is driving in and can give me a lift to the airport. A shuttle would be nice to let friend sleep in, but its not required.

Hello, planning ahead for a late summer fishing trip to Utah. Last night (9/5) will be in a hotel by the airport or at least with a shuttle. Many of the properties that come up in search are hard to ID. 4 Star SLC Downtown with Fitness, Pool, Restaraunt, Business Center, and Internet $69 3.5 Star SLC Airport with Fitness, Shuttle, Restaraunt, Business Center, and Internet $76 3 Star SLC Airport with Fitness, Pool, Shuttle, Restaraunt, Business Center, Internet, and Laundry $58 3 Star SLC Downtown with Fitness, Pool, Restaraunt, Business Center, and Internet $72 Any help appreciated!

It looks like some rating revisions have taken place. I have been tracking downtown Portland, OR hotels for a week or so and The Nines is now rated 5 stars, up from 4.5 stars yesterday.

Yes the amenities list is complete as reported by Hotwire. The reservation is for 9/14. I am flying in monday, camping/fishing all week in the mountains, then I just needed one night's hotel to get a shower before my 6:00 am flight out saturday.

Using the HOTWIRE link provided here, I just scored Baymont Inn & Suites for Salt Lake City Aiport, one friday night in September for one adult. Price $59, $73 including taxes and fees. I didnt think it was a really screaming deal but most hotels seem to be over $100 in the airport area so I guess its not too bad. To recap: 2.5 * Baymont Inn & Suites, SLC Airport $59 Amenities: Airport Shuttle Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Laundry Facilities

Oh, yes...and the list of amenities to identify this property by: Boutique Airport Shuttle Fitness Center Restaraunts Business Center High-speed Internet Golf For the $108 I paid, the Hotel Providence was a great deal.

The Hotel Providence is a very nice hotel. I got a very nice corner room on 3rd floor with a single king. Not a huge room but certainly not cramped. Bathroom has shower only but is very high end with rain shower head and marble floor, etc. Valet boy was very professional, and the front desk girl was very nice and cute to boot. One downside: Parking is valet @ $24 charged to room....if it weren't late and if I knew my way around I might seek alternate parking, so you might be able to avoid this if you are driving. But I would have to say this was a very nice deal indeed.

Oops, sorry about that...meant to post the orig post in the HOTWIRE section since that is the service I used. I can't get this property to come up on Hotwire again to list the amenities, but there were seven as I recall, the most obvious/unique one being it listed as "Boutique". Hope that helps.

On short notice, just booked The Hotel Providence 4* for $108 ($126 incl tax) for tonight 7/30/07. Best available price for this room seems to be around $250....I will post review after stay. Here is another Providence hotel to add to the list.

This "region" includes downtown so there are a couple of possibilities It has been reviewed more than 40 times by Hotwire customers so it must be one of their "regular" properties. Rating = 3.5/5.0
