Doubletree Hotel 3* 237 South Broad St, Philadelphia (corner of Broad and Locust per the hotel website) Zone--City Center East Amenities--Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center Booked June 9/10/11 for 3 nights at $83/night

Gave up on the Priceline bidding after getting a room through Hotwire--the 3* Doubletree at $83/night. Very pleased with that outcome.

Our family consists of two sons under 10 who will be in the room with us. We have booked rooms through Priceline before and have not had any issues in the past.

Seeking assistance for a 3* or 4* hotel in downtown Philly for a family vacation (only need 1 room). Dates are check-in Saturday, June 9, and checkout Tuesday, June 12th. Have bid and rebid up to $125 so far with no luck. Even put in for the 2.5* Courtyard at $125, but was rejected. Do you think the Saturday night is hurting the bid? Any other advice? Would probably be willing to go up to $140 or $150 eventually, since even the cheapest hotwire 3* is at $169/night. Thank you
