  1. In splitting my trip up, I was able to get the second half of my stay as follows: 4 rooms for Fri, 7/9 - Sun, 7/11 at Swissotel Chicago for $85.00/night; total charges $796.24. Here is the first part of my stay: PRICELINE CHICAGO WIN Thank you for ALL of your help! This site is wonderful!!!! :)
  2. I bid for 4 rooms for 4 nights up to $80 and was rejected. So I decided to split the stay to try for a better price. (I've read on this site of ppl doing that & it being successful!) Here's what I got: 4 rooms for Wed, 7/7 - Fri, 7/9 at Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel for $65.00/night total charges: $610.24 4 rooms for Fri, 7/9 - Sun, 7/11 at Swissotel Chicago for $85.00/night; total charges $796.24. I used a lot of the advice I read on your website and it really helped a bunch!! Thank you all!
  3. I have received info for my conference in Chicago and need help figuring out what zone the 2 conference hotels are in. The first hotel is the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers on E North Water and the other is Hilton Chicago on South Michigan Avenue. Are these in the Grant Park zone? Thank you for your help.
  4. GREAT TO HEAR!!! I wasn't sure if my chances changed with needing 3 rooms! I think I have my bidding strategy ready. We do want to stay in NMA area as we are going to be there for a conference. I have found (through this site :) ) that there are 2 other zones that don't have 3* or higher and 2 more that don't have 4*. (Please correct me, if I'm wrong!! still new at the rebidding part!) I have already told everyone that payment is due as soon as the bid is accepted, but that is a great point. Great advice! Thanks again.
  5. I need 3 rooms in Chicago for July 7-11. I have used priceline successfully in the past; however, never for more than 1 room at a time. Do you have any tips for bidding 3 rooms. We'd like to stay in the same hotel, so I don't really want to do 3 different bids, unless we have to, to get a good price. (Last year I got 1 room at the Westin for $55/night, hoping for around the same this year. ) Thanks for your help. PS: GREAT SITE!!!!! :)
