Expedia et al, and Sheraton-website rates all $349, and it was same-day, so not TOO bad, I think? Here's how I did it, in case anyone else is still figuring out rebidding: Wanted 4* and near Columbus Circle, so: Bid UM/CPS & MTW, rebidding by $10's from 140, adding rebid zones (starting with Brooklyn, but not including UE). Failed/restart. Bid TS, rebidding similarly from $150 to $180. Failed/restart. Bid UM/CPS & MTW again, starting with UE and adding rebid zones. WIN at $200. At $180 (for UM/CPS+MTW) I was invited to rebid immediately if I wanted to add $25 to my bid price. So I knew I was close. Saved only $5 by refusing to do so.

Rejected at $80 and $105. I jumped higher than needed, probably, but I was in a rush. And not expecting success Hotel showed full on Expedia. Direct Omni website price was $225 after AAA discount.

$105/night after trying $85 and $95. (Probably could've done a little less, given a prevailing history around $100 to $110, but I was impatient.) Total $250.04 with taxes, fees. Easy to rebid on 4# in Seattle area; there are MANY free-rebid areas to add on. This is my first posting on this forum; hope I got the format right.
