  1. Hi there- I just wanted to mention that I have been trying to bid unsuccessfully as well, I just think New Year's Eve is very difficult to get an affordable room, let alone a room at all (many properties have no availability if you check their own websites). Wish you luck!
  2. Very happy with this result.... booking the hotel directly from their website comes to $199 plus tax a night. Great location in the center of everything too!
  3. Planning to hike Mt. Monadnock this weekend thanks to the sweet deal I got on the Holiday Inn Express in Keene, NH! Happy July 4th to all!
  4. Howard Johnson Williamstown, paying a $35 nightly rate; if booked directly from the site would be $52 a night... I've never stayed at a 2* on PRICELINE, but in this area, there are no 3* rooms! So we will keep our fingers crossed that is a good place to stay and we will think about how cheaply we are doing it!
  5. Great deal on the W Hotel on Ft. Lauderdale Beach... originally bid $79, was not accepted, so I added Pompano Beach area and increased the bid, and it was accepted at $89! If I reserved it directly, it would cost $260 per night! :)
  6. Total with taxes and fees for 2 days from Baltimore Washington Airport comes to $43.17
  7. Bid $125 on a 5* in Old Madrid- counter offer was $172 by Priceline.... accepted it and happy at the result of the Westin Palace, which booked independently would have been $340.
  8. Offer of $34 was rejected- accepted at $36.... with tax it comes to $47
  9. Just got $119 a night for the 5 star Sutton Place hotel. Dates: 4/6-4/13 Not bad, considering the lowest rate I could find was $200/nt
