I had ID the property before the purchase. I was trying not to spend too much time making the purchase. It is only when I was trying to get direction to the hotel that I found out the parking charge. I HAVE A SUGGESTION -PUT THE HIDDEN CHARGE ON YOUR LISTING Parking, other surchage etc. So we know what they are before we purchase. Thank you

I booked a hotel through your link to HOTWIRE.com 3* Holiday Inn San Diego Zoo Area Customer Favorite Amenities: Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Laundry I tried not to book hotels downtown to avoid the daily parking fee. But when I went to their Holiday Inn Webside and found out that the parking is $14 /day!!! I thought hotel circle hotels should not charge parking.

Will it be about the same price to bid for 2 rooms on priceline than 1 room on hotwire? If so I will like to bid for 2 rooms. If not I will try hotwire.

Thank you for the above strategy. I started the bid of $50 until I reached $65 and were rejected. I then using your HOTWIRE link, went to hotwire and book Ayres Hotel for $76. ($88 plus tax and fee) For a few dollars more I can know where I will be staying. Thank you again.

Yes I would rather bid up to my limit at each star level before trying for a lower rated hotel.

My objective is still the same. This is line of priorities (which I posted yesterday) 1. Hotel should be 2* or more 2. Bid for priceline for hotel if less than $80 3. If no hotel less $80, then I will go to hotwire. You suggest that I bid $35 for 2* hotel. If the opening bid for 2 1/2* and 3* is $80 or less, I will first try to bid for that before bidding for 2* hotel. Thank you again.

I am looking for convenience. Holiday Inn is the location of my meeting. I do not care much about nice property (of course not 1* or 2*). However if I can get a better hotel and is not too far away. I don't mind bidding for it.

Hotwire refunded us $120 (3 nights at $40) for double the difference guarantee. So in effect, we got the room for $169 a night! Thank you again. This is a GREAT SITE and we will refer it to our friends.

Since we are are to visit Statute of Liberty and Chinatown the first few days. We finally decided to use your link to book with hotwire. Downtown/SOHO 2* at $209. The hotel is Sohotel. We found out, after booking, that other websites (venere, Travelo-city etc) are offering the same hotel for $189. Can we ask for refund of the difference? Thanks for all your help.

Sorry, my mistake. Helmsley Middletowne Hotel is above my budget. I try to go back and book Astor on the Park but no more room available. Any other suggestion?

Right now hotwire does not have any other hotels in manhanttan for a family of 4 at the above date except those mentioned above Budget is around $200 per night. Is it better to stay in Long Island and commute to Manhattan? How long is the ride? Does the subway run between this 2 places?
