Had a last minute hotel booking, bid 90$ for downtown montreal saturday 05/28 for 1 night - failed up'd $5 and added latin quarter, got the hyatt regency for $95. Ironic as I just checked out of here for $149 on the fri night.. lol
Yes, the 3* as described above is the Le Nouvel Hotel. It was a recent discussion that it has become a smoke-free hotel and has adjusted its HOTWIRE amenities. This hotel does not seem to have the best reviews and I have been avoiding it.
I gave up trying to get a PRICELINE montreal hotel 3.5* or above for under $110 (with very similar dates to you). I found this deal for a new hotel. The hotel Zero 1, grand opening special $109/n through june. https://www.luxuryres.com/BookingEngines/V1...n&rate=ZAVR I will keep trying on HOTWIRE / PRICELINE and cancel if I find something cheaper before the date, but at least I have a room on budget for now. Maybe this will be a good idea for you too.
I have had similar troubles for a few days later in May. I read somewhere that the Hyatt is no longer available for dates in May for priceline. I also noticed that the intercontinental and a couple others are not accepting bookings for several dates in may (whether they are fully booked or just closed I don't know).
Tried yesterday at 3* for $65 and 2 1/2* at $55 without luck. Today tried $69 and nabbed the hotel indigo. Likely the day before luck but who knows! Hi, Dates: April 19-21, 2008 I Bid $30 for the Buffalo Airport area 3*+ and was first rejected. They offered to accept if I increased my bid by $8, so I added Niagara Falls and bid $35 (hey, I saved $3/n). Recieved the 3* Millennium Buffalo Airport (note that this is a downgraded star rating by priceline - was previously 3.5*). Total $70 for 2 nights + $17.53 tax = $87.53.

This was not in the hotel list for dates 09/28/07-09/29/07 for the Washington, DC lookup; Holiday Inn Arlington At Ballston, VA 3*** Ammenities; Fitness, Pools, Laundry, Restaurants, High-Speed I got it at $64, but it shows $65 2 seconds later.. heh
Hi my dates were August 12, 2007 - August 17, 2007. On a sidenote though, I had hoped this was a different hotel from reading this board. You can book the delta center-ville directly from their website and recieve 25% off the rates anyway (which works out to be exactly the same price as hotwire).
Hi, I booked a 4* hotwire montreal downtown hotel for $99 and got the delta center-ville but these were the options: Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-speed Internet Access
This is not a bad little hotel, but it is completely surrounded by the sheraton yankee clipper. Its not actually on the beach either, a tad of a walk (around the yankee clipper dumpsters). Hopefully they finally repaired all the hurricane damage...we were there in feb and they still had blocks of rooms boarded up!.
