  3. Hi, I've been attempting to get a 4* in the Boston Commons/Quincy Market/Waterfront area (1 room for 2 nights, starting 7/24). I've bid up to $180 with no luck. Any advice? Thanks! Kevin
  4. Nice deal. I was bidding at the same time for 7/24-7/26 and I had no luck up to about $120/night. I've since had no luck up to $180/night. Is there a convention in town after 7/21? :)
  5. I've gone up to #180 (so far) 4* in the Boston Commons/Quincy Market/Harbor Front area for 7/24-7/26 with no luck. I noticed that post about the Boston Common $75/night 4* for 7/21. Unfortunately, I wasn't staying at that time. However, it might bode well for a last minute deal. :) Any advice?
  6. 2 1/2* Mission Valley - Hotel Circle $87 La Quinta Inn San Diego - Mission Valley I tried several different areas (see my other post). I also noticed that the Westin Gaslamp is currently available for $99 (on the Westin website). I was able to figure out which hotel the Express Deal was and, given that I was traveling with 6 people (3 kids) and I had a car, the free breakfast (probably around $50/day at Denny's), free parking ($32/day at the Westin), and free internet ($9.95/day at the Westin) made this a good deal "for me" and "saved" me about $116/day (after tax) compared to the Westin ($174 for La Quinta, $290 for Westin with breakfast, parking, and internet).
  7. I ended up going with a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal, but I figured that I should report my bidding rejections. 8. Both Crown Plaza and Town and Country have spas and they where $124 and $129, respectively on their own websites. Any best guesses? :)

  13. I added an SUV rental for $20/day (Alamo) out of LAX (4/19-4/26). The following bids where rejected: Fullsize: $13 Premium: $17 Luxury: $22 I was also given the option of upgrading to a minivan for $2/day (we have two families going, so we might do this and split the cost).
  14. Marriott Anaheim Suites $65 4/19/08 -- 4/26/08 Started at $51 and worked up to $65 with rebidding zones and combinations. I noticed on the Marriott website that the first two nights of our stay were offered at $119.99 and the last 5 nights were offered at $139.99. So, it looks like we are on the border of a seasonal increase.
