Of course I used the PRICELINE LINK that thereuare told me to bookmark this time. My hotel hunting is done for now. Will bid again for Christmas.

I initially started @ $60 and was countered @ $144. My guess is that I may be able get it for $110. However, I do not want Westin. I dont mind Planet Hollywood/Luxor/Monte Carlo/MGM/Paris. How can I know for sure? I am willing to bid up to $110. Please advise, lwt

9/30 - 10/2 Got it on first try. Tried bidding 2 1/2** at $55 but countered offer at $67. Cant wait any longer. I spent too much time bidding in USE, USW and Berkeley and went ahead and bid 2** in Berkeley, CA. I have mixed feeling about this. Could someone tell me more about this hotel? Thanks, lwt

Initial bid $40 - rejected. Next day bid $43 - rejected - countered offer $55 but I did not buy it. Next day bis $45 - Accepted. Direct Hotel site sells $110/night on 10/2 - 10/3. Pretty Happy with the result.

Won Westin Bonaventure Hotel 9/29 - 9/30 for $74/night. Started from $65 - rejected. Add rebid zone $70 - rejected. Add rebid zone $72 - rejected. Add rebid zone $74 - ACCEPTED. I went to their website and found that they are selling 1 room for $240.00 / night. This is a good deal for me, I think. One more question, it is safe to walk around this area at night? Hi, Yes, I am willing to take the risk with just 1 bed in 1 room. This happened to my parents and I before, and we do not mind. Bakersfield does sound good for an alternative. However, since my parents have never been to LA, I think it will be best to do some sightseeing. We will be leaving early in the morning from Vegas (7AM) and hopefully, we can spend some time sightseeing in LA. Thanks, lwt

Hi, We will be driving from Las Vegas to San Francisco but we need to stay in LA because my parents won't be able to sit in the car for straight 10-11 hours. We probably will not have much time for sight seeing, but a hotel that is close to any tourist attraction is a plus. Thanks, lwt
