  1. Kept getting rebid offers on bids from 70 daily up until I bid $86. Accepted on Hilton Westend which is 89.69 after taxes using the PRICELINE link. While this rate is great compared to regular website - Hilton offered a 7-day advance pre-pay discount rate which comes out to $93 USD - so if you are seeking similar lodging just book 7 days in advance.

  6. Just adding for the list. The two primary resorts in 3* in Grand Bahama Island are Our Lucaya and the Radisson Our Lucaya. This may aid future bidders to check the price at both properties before placing a bid to avoid over bidding.
  7. I bid $72 for 4* and was hoping for Westin but instead received the Crowne Plaza which has an advance purchase price of $99 but didn't know it was an option. The retail shows $199 which matches the Westin. As they say you never know what falls into a range. I used the PRICELINE link to place bid

Landed the Imperial Park @ $90 The hotel's website shows $95 for lowest rate so I basically saved $15 when compared to hotel site after fee/taxes. 19. Newark to Manhattan will take you about 30 minutes. You have multiple options available: . You can take a direct bus OlympiaTrails - this can take longer depending on traffic it encounters but at 2pm you should be fine and they can drop you off on the East side or West side. They have a representative outside of each terminal at ground transportation. . You can take the train - NJ Transit which is about a 25 minute ride and puts you at NY Penn Station (31st & Penn Station). DO NOT take a cab as you will spend at minimum $55 bucks for a trip that would cost $12 via above methods - unless you have too much luggage or have kids. Now, to get from midtown Manhattan to Yankee stadium takes about 40 minutes via subway either the C,D or 4 train so you have a ton of time available to you. Regardng, tickets - I can't give advice but you are sure to find a scalper outside the stadium if it is a sold-out event. NYC is a fun and welcoming place but everyone is usually in a rush - so don't be intimated to simply ask someone how to get to point a or b as most are helpful but get into tunnel vision. NJTransit.com - train service mta.info - subway to the stadium
  20. Started at $150 with $5 increments to $175. Offered $25 increase = win via PRICELINE. Bid $180 accepted at Grand Hyatt Kauai. Amazing resort and worth the money also happy it wasn't the Sheraton.
  21. There is never a guarantee which hotel offers inventory to PRICELINE but if bidding mid-week it is a good indicator the more expensive of the three will not come up accepting a bid. It worked for me as I followed a similar methodology to check hotel pricing prior to placing bid. However, no guarantees.
