I'm new to Priceline, so I wasn't sure about how to bid. I tried $70/nt (less than half the normal price for a hotel in this area) and it worked. I'll try a lower price next time. Anybody have any experience bidding in Northern Bergen county?

Looking for 4/28 - 5/2. It looks like Westin Kierland (4.5*) is available for $200. This place is 3.5* and is listed as a best value and customer favorite. Any ideas on what hotel this is and if so would you recommend it. Ammenities are: Rest, Pool, Fitness, Business Ctr, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby.

I often need to stay in Northern Bergen County on business. I have used Hotwire many times to get a room at the Pearl River Hilton in Pearl River, NY (just over border from NJ) for $72/night plus tax. It is the only 3.5* hotel I have ever seen available on Hotwire for North Bergen County (section of Newark). The hotel is very nice and is often available on Hotwire. Great Price, Great Hotel.
