I'm going to need 1 room in Philadelphia Check in - 5/22 - 2 nights 4* Downtown. When should I starting thinking of booking with priceline? Is there a "sweet spot" for booking rooms? I don't want to book be too early. Thanks. michael

I bid exactly as you outlined above. Finally secured 2 rooms for $85. 3* Asheville Renaissance 2 Rooms 5/18/07 - 5/19/07 $85/night $198.60 with taxes. Thank you so much for your help.

You say close browser and reaccess Priceline, but don't I have to wait 24 hours once I run out of rebid zones? Is there a way around that?

The Renaissance and Crowne Plaza are around $179/night. I guess my max would be about $100 before I start looking for a 2* hotel.
