  1. Yes I know. But the reply listed was an answer to someone inquiring about a 3* hotel with amenities identical to the ones I had and which turns out to be the Best Western. What's really ironic is that Hotwire's travel partners, Expedia.com and Hotels.com both list the Best Western Raffles as a 2.5 star. Priceline's retail division has it listed as a 2* hotel.
  2. Actually I looked at previous messages and came across this: This is why I thought perhaps it would be Holiday Inn. My main disappointment is due to the fact that I don't believe that Best Western is a 3* hotel. I don't see it as the same caliber as Holiday Inn. Regardless, I appreciate this site and I'll continue to use Hotwire.
  3. This one showed like this: Anaheim - Disneyland South Hotel 3 stars- $53/night Fitness Center Pool(s) Business Center Laundry Facilities High Speed Internet Access I have to admit I'm disappointed with this hotel. I thought it would be the Holiday Inn on Manchester, which I've stayed at before and liked. This Best Western doesn't have the best reviews and I hate exterior corridors. If I would have realized this was an option, I probably would have done priceline for a 3.5* and paid for parking. This price is only $10 less per night than you can book on Hotels.com, so not much of a deal. Oh well, we'll make the best of it. Used the HOTWIRE link from better bidding.
  4. I actually went through the PRICELINE boxes at the top of the betterbidding page. I hope that's the same as using those links.
  5. One night. I started at $30 and re-bid until $45 accepted. I'm happy with it!
  6. I asked the same question yesterday, and after much research, my guess is that this is the "O" hotel. It will be interesting to find out if I'm right. Good luck.
  7. I'm guessing the 3.5* might be the "O" Hotel. Possible. I noticed the price for what appears to be the Omni. I looks like the difference would be worth being able to get two beds. Thanks.
  8. I'm looking for 7/12 in Los Angeles and for the first time I got the following offer: 3/5* Downtown Los Angeles Boutique Hotel, Smoke Free, Fitness Center, Business Center, High Speed Internet It gives no Tripadvisor information. Any guesses???
  9. Started bidding 3* at $40, declined. Added AH, $42.00, declined. Added LB, $45.00, declined. Added LH $47 accepted Anaheim Hilton. Thought I had a better chance of getting Hyatt since it was priced lower, but I'm happy with the Hilton. Their website shows $119 for these nights, so that's a really good deal.
  10. Sorry it's taken me a bit to get back to this... I'm travelling 6/22/07 - 6/25/07 SAN to LIT. When I put this flight information in on Hotwire, I get the response: 54 retail flights available starting at $428. There is no offer of a "closed information" fare. Thanks.
  11. I tried to find a hotwire RT price for SAN to LIT and all I got back were retail suggestions. I've only used Hotwire for hotels before and haven't had that happen before. Is this normal? Does it mean there is no discounted price available? Thanks.
