The 2* Orlando WDW area with listed amenities of restaurant, complimentary breakfast, kitchenette, golf nearby, tennis nearby, and laundry facilities that's been coming up lately turns out to be the Park Inn & Suites Orlando Maingate East at 6075 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway (rte. 192) in Kissimmee. It does have an outdoor heated swimming pool. Followed AngieinKC's lead and bought first night (5/1/04) at $26 ($35.95 w/taxes and booking fee) to make sure it was a property with a pool; then bought the next 6 nights at $24 ($167.95 w/taxes and booking), grand total of $203.90 for 7 nights (5/1 - 5/8/04) at a property w/microfridge very close to WDW maingate and I-4 (5 mins to WDW, 15 to Universal Studios). Looked it up on Trip Advisor and found mixed reviews, but overall am very happy with purchase since this trip is going to have to be very much budget minded. By the way this property used to be Larson's Lodge.
