  1. I am still looking for Los Angeles. I tried 4* in Beverly West Hollywood, using rebid zones Brentwood, Culver, Redondo, Santa Monica...starting at $68, all the way to $100. No luck today. I was thinking about trying for a 3*, or maybe a steal of a 2.5*. Any suggestions?
  2. This is my post for San Diego. I was talking about the Holiday Inn Harbor View/San Diego...2.5 *. Looked good. The zone I am looking in is San Diego.
  3. Did some research. There seems to be only one 2.5 * in San Diego zone. The holiday Inn Harbor View. Is that correct? It seemed fine, location wise. So I could try cheap for that. Also, not sure about the 3* Best Western Hacienda so maybe I should stick with 4* to start. I probably don't want to spend more than $150. As far as price, I obviously want the cheapest but don't really now where to start?
  4. We are still discussing where and how many nights...I will get back to you as soon as we decide...thanks.
  5. We are looking for 2 rooms for 3 nights in the West Hollywood area. We would like to try for a 4* or 3*....but would take a 2.5* for a really good deal. We weren't sure if we should try one night in the southern part of LA and then 2 nights in the West Hollywood area. I don't know the area or really what we want to do yet. 4 Friends going to LA unsure of what to do!!! Yikes...I might be to vague..sorry
  6. Thanks for getting back to me. I knew about the double occupancy but just figured I could get/pay for a rollaway. I didn't imagine a room wouldn't have room for a rollaway... I guess if I could really low ball it then I could get 2 rooms or take my chances. I would like to proceed... (As far as Hotwire, I have spent so much time trying to figure out Priceline that I don't know if I can bear to try to figure out Hotwire)
  7. WE are heading to San Diego for one night...May 23, 2007. Was very succesful using savingsbarn.com link to PRICELINE to get a hotel in NYC recently and would like to find something in San Diego. We are planning on a trip to the Zoo and meeting friends near the Convention Center. There are 3 adults staying in the room. I don't have quite a fix on the rates in the area. I did do some research on other sites... Expedia, cheap hotels, and priceline, but not knowing the area makes it difficult to figure this out. Would like a 3 or 4 * but would be okay with 2.5* if a really really good deal. Looking for something in LA- West Hollywood area for the next 3 nights. 5/24-26. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  8. Thanks so much for your help. I did get a room. The Roosevelt...3* $190 night 4/28-4/30 And I did go through savingsbarn.com
  9. Thanks so much for your help. I did get a room as a backup...still holding out some hope. Thanks again. I will try later today as I did try early yesterday. I think I bid as high as $200 early yesterday for a 4* ...no luck. starting to panic, even though I have a room...not very happy with it. Thanks
  10. :) I am so confused. I have read so much and tried several times to bid on nights in New York but with no luck. I am looking to go April 28 - 30th. Saturday - Monday. We would be fine in MTE, MTW, MTS and even UM/CPS.... I prefer 4*, but would be fine in 3*. I would rather spend up to $200 for 4* but maybe only 175 for 3*. But truthfully I may not have any choice since it is so late and might even have to go as high as $225.... Any bidding help would be so greatly appreciated. Have not been able to figure out the rebid zone that I would use.
